Well after playing on several alts from the start of mcwar, I saw the war community increasing at astounding rates. In early 2013-mid 2015 was when brawl was very fun. War servers and warz servers were full everything was fine. Now I logged back onto war and there is only like 20-30 people on only one war server at a time, and warz is just dead. The community has died out. I saw it dying after joeymast got banned and kjh. As he said once "The war community is dying as the days go by." And now we are here, a dead war and warz community. The teaser of War 2.0 back in 2013 was a major mistake, and I know that brawl has overcame the issue, but war 2.0 has not been released. The Staff are doing fine, but many players have quit, there are still some that I know that played for ages and still play war and warz today, but what concerns me today is the community. As LuckyPop made a video and a thread about revamping the community, what he said to me is basically true, some parts were not, but I agreed with his intention. Why is the community dying? What happened to the servers that once used to be packed 24/7? What happened to me saying "Why the **** are the servers always full"? What happened to brawl.? Well I think I know part of the answer to it. With war: People could not wait for war 2.0 to be released, and more annoying people started to play on it. What can we do to make our community great again, and to have full servers all the time as it used to be. What will we do to make brawl great gain.

    Thanks

Well, it's just not us. If you look at other servers, the # of players on at a time has dropped drastically. If you look at Mineplex, They dropped from 40,000 to 14,000 people, I think more people are stepping away from minecraft as they push out more game-changing updates.

I feel your pain, although I am not a WarZ player I know enough to say that it is very low on players. Now to say that it was dead would be a whole other thing. Currently there is too many WarZ servers making it people are spread out.

And to say that Brawl is dead is very unrealistic. If brawl averages 100 people, then sure. But if you look at Brawl has 650 players atm. You have to think past just that one gamemode. Minecraft party is currently at 100 players, and HG is making a comeback with 30 players on!

See Brawl isn't dead, it is just not as it used to. It has been the subject to cruel old age. It is not dead by any means, it is merely not mainstream. I feel that negativity towards this subject has forced people too leave. but don't think about that, and just enjoy it while it is here. Everything is going to die, so let it be. This subject has been popping up everywhere, "Brawl is dead" but it just isn't.

But I don't want to live in ignorance, Brawl is losing players and it is not as popular as it once was, and we need to improve on that. If we nurture the games right, the community will come back. For example if we focus on HG, as we did just now I have seen average 20+ players in a game. And when I played a game, I met someone who had not played a game since McPvP!

Basically, Brawl isn't dead. It needs careful nurturing, but it will survive. But we do need to accept that everything will die, even other huge server (You know, the one with 40,ooo players right now :/)

Brawl isn't dying, Minecraft itself is. The game's like 7 years old, it'll inevitably die soon, unfortunately. Only thing that could stop it from dying is if Mojang make a new Minecraft (after 1.9 I was hoping it would be 2.0), to keep things fresh. Other companies do it to keep their games fresh, and if Mojang did it and didn't screw it up then it'd be awesome.

I think so much brawl have done for this server, they deserve more players. If you see big servers like hypixel, gomme have like average 16k while brawl... 500. It may be the case people don't play because the low player amount. But the biggest problem Brawl have been having now is the lag and I don't think brawl can expect so much more players if they don't fix it.

Oh, I forgot to mention on my first reply, summer's coming. Brawl and every server is going to get a bunch more players. If Brawl can make them stay (would be nice if they continue giving us lots of events even after the summer), Brawl could do really well and get even more next summer. I've noticed servers tend to grow like that.

Why does it seem that you are trying to find any reason to say Brawl is dying.
Anyway, CS:GO is a other genre, one that might be a bit more engaging. Also if you notice most players of CS:go are not from when it launched. People buy the game because it is fun, and it doesn't have a bad reputation. Now I'm not say minecraft has a bad reputation, I'm saying that it has a reputation for being with little kids.

The player base has been slowly decreasing for years as many old time players have grown up and moved on to other things. Events such as updates to the game itself also contributed as when 1.3 came out it messed up quite a few servers and I don't think they have fully recovered from that. Plus with lack of updates, minecraft in general dying and a change in what's popular the player base of Brawl has decreased.

were not dying, As @DANl3L said, Every server is dropping players, It's because people grow up and find new things ans hobbys, Not everybody wants to just stay inside, drink pop, eat doritos and stare at a computer shooting little fake animations and plugins (minecraft) there is new things to do in this world, Brawl is not dead, It I don't think it will be dead for a long time.
