Promotions! New Management System

Hello Brawlers,

Today we will begin to address one issue that has been around for years: Lack of communication between the community and the staff team.

The previous way our staff team was layed out did not allow for us to focus individually on each server at a time. Staff was often tasked at managing all gamemodes together, which doesn't work out well. This new system will allow specific staff team members to focus on gamemodes individually to ensure they all have equal opportunity to prosper.

With that said, we are adding a new task for Senior Moderators. Each of them will from now on be managing one gamemode.

Managing a server includes the following (Quote from the SMod Handbook):

While the system is still heavily in development, we believe it will significantly help the organization of nearly everything. The core concept is that Mods can talk to specific SMod Managers which will organize the concepts from there to present to the Administrators and Developers.

The Senior Moderators and Administrators will manage the following gamemodes:
Wild West - @18kss
MC-War - @Lord_Roke (temp)
WarZ - @Canoodle (temp)
Creative/Build - @MrDasky
Survival PvP - @Lozzylouise
Capture the Flag - Pending
Hardcore Games - @BlueGuyARed

Of course, we are (and will always be) working on finding suitable members to take care of all gamemodes.

In addition, Lord_Roke and Canoodle have been promoted to Administrator. Both individuals are great help to the overall Brawl community and will be great help manage the new SMod Managers.

Lord_Roke will continue to focus on the forums and management as a whole, while Canoodle will continue to focus on staff and managing everyone. The rank does entail a lot more responsibilities, which I'm sure they will manage fine.

We hope these changes help to involve the community more in server development and thus improve the gamemodes.

Brawl Staff Team
