Military Theme for maps.

    We have D-Day 2 (by Team X which I was in). Its a fun map. I enjoy it quite a bit. However, I see some room for more military themed maps based off of real life. Now this is just to get the community map makers thinking. I have below a list of military battles/themes that would be cool to see implemented into the MC-WAR map archive.

    WWII:
    Tarawa
    Okinawa
    Saipan
    Guadalcanal
    El Alemein
    Leningrad
    Battle for Berlin
    Pelilu
    Battle of the Bulge
    Operation Market garden

    Vietnam:
    Khe Sanh
    Fall of Saigon
    Tet offensive
    Battle for Hue
    Battle of Xuan Loc

    Iraq War:
    Fallujah
    Mosul
    Ramadi

    Cool Idea some of these settings seem like they would make really cool maps. I look forward to seeing some in the future :wink:

    I'd suggest a map called trenches (tdm only) with a trench on either end of the map (not a large map, mind you) and cobwebs/craters scattered across the middle (no mans land) I was thinking someone could whip this up quickly, or I could work on it on Build.

    My trenches map almost has the basics finished, I'll upload screenie a later. I need some people to help me with the final touches and decorations when I'm done,

    Dhahran is based of real city in saudi arabia :stuck_out_tongue: i bet it was some warish there , and yes its a good idea
