I would love to give my prayers, but prayers are what started this whole thing. (Jihad war)

Still, my best of wishes to the victims. Let the people who did this rot in hell.

The U.S. needs to get its act together, for real.

 

Let's not politicize this.
This is indeed the worst mass killing in U.S. history since 9/11. Scary enough, this comes hours, in the same city after Christina Grimmie was murdered.
You should all realize that there will always be evil people. There will always be mass killings. I'd hate to be a Debbie Downer, but there's is really nothing you can do about it.

 

And there will always be good people to step in to help...and sometimes there will be even worse "Evil" people who help out too.

 

I am giving many thoughts to those victims. It is sad to see such hatred from individuals. It is also very scary for some, especially for me and my family/friends considering I live in Orlando, about 10 minutes from the shooting. I am gald to say that no one i know personally has been affected. It truly is scary to know that a mass shooting happened very close to some people's home and has affected those people there that night as well as their families. I hope for the wellbeing of those injured and those families and once again I state that my thoughts are with them.

As far as I know, the person behind this attack was inspired by the Islamic State. It may seem scary, and I am very relieved to know that both @Kiloparsec and @ningeek212 are personally unaffected.

My condolences to everyone involved. Unfortunately Florida is just a part of the U.S. where the craziest stuff happens, most of which happens to be illegal and leads to people dying. If anyone here is related to that tragic event, my prayers are with you.

 

Definetely sending my thoughts and prayers. Although the shooter is dead, there may still be people like him out there.

 

I don't think this a place to use a sarcastic joke that could be misunderstood

 

How to Stop Mass Shootings, according to the Internet:

Step 1. Pretend like there is no gun problem.
Step 2. Hear about Mass Shooting on news.
Step 3. Post sad threads online about how upset and outraged you are.
Step 4. Go back to pretending like there is no gun problem without actually trying to change anything.

I'm sure the victims and their families would much rather have their deaths spark change within gun legislation to prevent these shootings, rather than simple internet threads which won't help anything.

 

The guy acquired a gun legally with background checks. Any type of gun control is gonna take years and years because of so many gun owners

Well apparently these background checks aren't good enough so we should expand them WHICH IS LITERALLY ALL OBAMA WANTS TO DO AND IT MAKES SENSE.

How many times do we have to make posts like these after shootings until something is actually done? We all say "Never again" but it always happens again because our Congress is too loyal to the NRA to do anything.
