Idea New Idea: Pay for more Elite Weeks

    Since everyone is complaining about the ELITE week being over...
    Everyone is raging and crying over a rank.

    HERE IS MY IDEA!!!:

    If you have bought a lifetime rank in the past before the EULA, it will stay with you.

    For everyone to get Elite for a week, anyone can pitch in and help!

    So Each week the shop.brawl.com warz shop will have a weekly quota to reach to pay for expenses.
    Example:

    When the goal is reached, all warz servers have an Elite week.

    If there are more donations for one week, it will transfer to the next week.

    The week system would go on forever until some EULA change comes around.

    If you bought VIP or MVP in the past, during ELITE week, you will be ELITE
    and when that week is over you will get your rank back.

    Considering the Elite rank comes with permissions, what we could do is make a same exact copy of the current elite (only for people who haven't donated), then make the rank nametag the same exact one as default, delete both the Elite and Default rank, it's basically merging them together, then from there we can start removing some permissions without interfering with the actual Elite permissions.

    So your saying, all name tags except the preexisting people who donated before the EULA would be gray as it is now?
    I think you would get more players if the whole server viewed ELITE as everyone's nametag. When that ELITE week started you know brawl had more players on because people told their friends. And not all people would look at chat saying "elite week everyone is elite." I think if you make everyone's tag "ELITE" except staff people would notice it better and more people would join. That's just what I think. - that's to the effect of my post above ^ not the current system now on warz.

    Elite is not supposed to be for every person, only some of its benefits. The nametag and color itself is perk of elite, it's flashy and stands out, it's not meant for any person even if it is an hour or so. Sure elite perks can happen in a set time like Free Friday (which itself isn't even a good idea anyways, why would you pay if you could play every week?), but not this nametag system we currently have (which is most probably just so we could quickly comply to the EULA, not at all something permanent).

    Yes I am an Elite, but I try not to be bias. I believe the plan is that once all the new cosmetics are coded, Elite/MVP/VIP ranks will be added back to the shop (Without the pay2win perks - cosmetics only).

    Yes it might make people donate more if they knew they would get Free Elite for the rest of the month if they reach the target but it gets rid of the... Eliteness of having Elite. If everyone has it, whats the point.
