It's amazing that you take facts in to the picture. There's however a few innacurate points in your post. The fact that your town is getting warmer does not prove anything. There's a lot of places wich are getting a bit colder. But yes the overwhelming trend is however clear. The earth is getting warmer.
That 200ft thing is just ridiculous. Sea levels have changed more than 200ft before. It becomes much more interesting when you add the relativly short time scale to the picture.
Storms arent getting more frequent. There's atleast no evidence for that. This is because of the fact that the jetstreams wich feeds most storms with energy are getting weaker. This is because of the fact that temperature differencees between the poles and the equator are decreasing. Some storms will probably however become more powerful thanks to the increases in sea temperatures.
And please. I alredy said this, but please add a time scale when making those statements.

The sea levels rising 200 feet will probably take 300-400 years. As I did say in my post, it wasn't just my town it was the entire globe. Yes, the difference in temperature between the poles and equator are decreasing, but that is at the surface where there is no jet stream. Storms are becoming more frequent and more powerful because when you heat the planet, there is more water vapor. I can't tell you how many times L.A. has been disappointed in a storm, not because it wasn't cold enough, not because it wasn't slow enough, but because there was no moisture from the tropics. Then eastern Pacific ocean is technically a desert. Since there is an increase in moisture, this is happening slightly less often, thus when storms hit, they are more likely to pack a punch. With the combination of warmer sea temperatures, as you said in your last post, and more moisture, this is how storms will get more powerful.

I should have been more clear. When I said "storms" I am referring to tropical entities which do not consist of warm or cold fronts. In a perfect world, these would be getting more frequent and stronger, however due to recent anomaly changes throughout the eastern Pacific commonly knows as El Nino, storms have stopped in the Atlantic. Climate change will likely cause more hurricanes in the future, but if we keep warming the world, we enter, leave, and re-enter periods were a certain basin is favorable for tropical development. 2004-2006 Atlantic season was one of those active periods. 2007-2015 is one of those quite periods. These periods arnt always because of climate change, but they are certainly linked. Perhaps 2016 will be active? To early to tell. The entire pacific ocean which consists of 3 bases in completely quite right now, after a record braking 2015 and 2014 hurricane season.

There's no evidence that storms are becomming more frequent. Again, global warming is weakening the jestreams, but increasing the sea temperatures. The question is wich will change more. Storms will likely not become more frequent but probably much more intense acording to nasa.

    Oh, your right.

    Update:

    Los Angeles/California

The hottest day have come and gone. Monday featured 115 degrees in parts of suburban Los Angeles including the towns of Burbank, Pasadena, Azuza and San Bernardino. Palm Springs hit 122, while some unofficial weather stations reported temperatures of 130 degrees! Because of high temperatures and a weak yet persistent wind, 2 small brush fires have erupted and to massive Wildfires above the San Gabriel Valley towns of Azuza and Duerte.

Temperatures will cool tomorrow due to an onshore wind, yet temperatures will still be in the 90's until Saturday, when another round of heat, possibly as bad as this one arrives.

    Arizona:

Wildfires continue to rage in Arizona northeast of Phoenix. 6,000 acres have been charred black. In addition to wildfires, 4 hikers, all in their 20's, were found dead over the weakened due to lack of water in separate events. Excessive heat warning will expire tomorrow night, so unless you live in Los Angeles, be prepared for another day of searing heat, and remember

    CHECK THE BACK SEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so far, no child deaths were reported from this heat wave in the South West, but it isn't even close to over, even for Los Angeles. Long range models show the high pressure system to rebuild and send record breaking temperatures back across Baja California, through the desert southwest, and up to Ohio. Please watch the forecasts and don't take what precautions meteorologists say with a grain of salt.
