Resets

I said that players go to Wild West to get away from the Survival genre. I based my suggestions from that claim.

I did suggest for it to be semi-annually, or just make something to limit the power of all sides.

 

There are two types of people. The people who like to work hard to get something, or like to get to it fast and have fun without putting so much work. I think, at least.

 

you should reset it once, and mainly follow @TheMafias 's idea, its more fun for players and everyone, its more balanced

 

Why did I join Wild West? Well it wasn't like running away from other servers. Since MCPvP and Sabotage server were closed I didn't attend to Brawl. In the beginning I was wondering what some different servers could give, but I always liked unique gamemodes in Minecraft. Party was pretty interesting, but I didn't play for 8 months... but since Wild West was made, I've been playing it most of the time because I like economy system, loot I can sell and stuff I can buy.

I was indifferent as to the reset, but @TheMafias convinced me that it isn't a good idea. However, if it happens I will apply for a sheriff.

 

People could take resets either way:

1. Yay, reset, now I have to work back up to where I was

2. Ok, so now everything i've worked for has been cleared and i've wasted my time.

Although i'd personally be ok with everything reseting, I know there are many people that would be angry over a reset. Maybe an option to choose if you want everything you have to reset? Have a command that would allow you to reset all your stats, but then maybe every 6 months to a year have a reset for everyone.

 

Every 3+ months wouldn't be that bad.

 

all u need is reputation and skill, if u have skill, u can kill anyone with a carcano, if everyone is full d, u need full d to kill them, if they have nothin, u don't need anything, as long as its fair, its fine with me

 

Personally I don't mind people being OP on WW but when almost everyone OP on the server joins one team (*ahem* VK) it really leaves no room for "noobs" and, really any other player to get better. Whenever I see someone from VK I just usually /team hq or logout, seeing as I'm already practically dead because they usually travel in groups, not to mention everyone already being OP themselves even if they dont, so yes, I think a restart would sound like a good idea however what about the people who spent money on processor boosters...

I am a relatively new player so obviously this doesn't effect me that much.
