    Heyo guys! I'm back with another idea for wild west and this time its about the sheriff ​
    hate. In @TheTrogs thread he mentioned that sheriffs could just easily handcuff you and skip the fighting and not die. This sprang up an idea of mine (anotha one). Lock Picks. These handcuffs will be explained below.

    Lock picks would be found in chests with the rarity of diamond armor, but in indian camps you could find ​
    with the same rarity as a bow. You should know what this idea basically is if you've ever heard of the old 'lock picks' that were used in the the oldern/western times. These lock picks would be used to unhandcuff yourself.

    Usage: Let's say you are in the coco processor building upstairs. You are camping the ladder closest to the processor. You want to one shot anybody who comes up that ladder with your model. BUT THEN! you see a sheriff come up and handcuff you. (or they can block glitch under you and handcuff... heh never thought of that one did you? But that would be glitch ABOOSE!) But you found a lock pick earlier and you right click it and you are unhandcuffed and you get the second 'close range' shot at the sheriff with your model and you defeat the sheriff.

    Now there are some cons to this as a lock pick only has one use... or does it? I think that if these are implemented you should get a broken lock pick item that is a jagged lock pick after usage. You can use processed iron to fix it by just putting the iron on the lock pick in your inventory so if the sheriff keeps on coming back they can come back around 64 times (depending on how much iron you have) to handcuff you and to defeat you. They would probably quit before 64 times. Well this was my idea but the sheriff can't be expecting you to have a lock pick. Otherwise they will just handcuff you again. This can save you from being caught and sent to jail and save thousands of gold.

    I don't see any reasons this shouldn't be implemented into wild west except that it might take up a night or two from @Mario 's coding. This wouldn't be too op because of the rarity of this item and it would encourage OP'ier players to mine more. I never really see an op player such as @JokerDoflamingo , @Miraculate , @TheTrogs , and @TheWubzsters mining. This item would encourage mining so they could 'fix' their lock picks.

    you should know that sheriffs takes away your gun right after they handcuffed you, and unhandcuffing yourself doesn't seem possible, because you are on the page of "paying bounty" so, i think let your friend unhandcuff you will be a better idea

    I think otherwise, sheriff's need to inspect you first, and then take your illegals. If you have quick reflexes, you can lock pick and then counter attack. Another idea is that after you're handcuffed and break free, sheriff's have a delay before they can do it again. Quick reflexes and the implementation of this new tool promotes new counter-play vs. Sheriffs. Before this though, sheriff's need a slight buff, their guns are slightly UP since they fixed the OSK glitch and changed gun damage values. This idea has been suggested many times before, and it's a good one imo. @Endermaster3000

    How could a sheriff block glitch under you?
    Sheriffs often don't inspect the first person they handcuff, because there can be 1-3 more players to deal with when they raid a base.

    He's referring to a sheriff being 1 floor beneath you and breaking the block your standing on and handcuffing you. I've never heard of this actually happening though.

    The only times I ever get handcuffed, it is by surprise. If I were to get handcuffed, I would not have the reaction speed to "pick the lock" before I get inspected and ticketed. Sheriffs have that ez triple click combo that can be executed in a second

    im think this would be a nice item but you need diamonds instead of iron to fix it and it can only be be fix 2 times

    and also its illegal
