    Another Evil-licious guns thread to enjoy!

    I find a more commonly overlooked gun that people aren't using is.......

    The FAMAS!

    So here's where I changed the gun in my texture pack.....because the HK MP5 is way cooler!

    History of the MP5 (From the Wiki Page)

    Work on the MP5 began in 1964 and two years later it was adopted by the German Federal Police, border guard and army special forces.[6]

    In 1980, the MP5 achieved iconic status as a result of its use on live television by SAS commandos in Operation Nimrod, where they stormed the Iranian Embassy in London, rescuing hostages and killing five terrorists.[7] The MP5 became a mainstay of SWAT units of law enforcement agencies in the United States since then. However, in the late 1990s, as a result of the North Hollywood shootout, police special response teams have supplanted some MP5s with AR-15-based assault rifles

    The table below is a comparison between the Famas (aka MP5 in my texture pack) and other assault rifles.

    Based on the Magazine Size and faster reload as well as damage, it's a great middle range gun with excellent burst and power.

    Try taking this gun on FFA or running and gunning on your favorite map!

    - I've found full auto is a bit tricky to shoot with the Lemenation and the Skully while superior in damage and range feels a bit slower because you are always reloading.

    - Headshots with Famas/MP5 are a great way to take down enemies.

    - Bottlenecking or holding an enemy at a choke point where your superior fire/damage ratio can do some damage is another.

    - A general weakness of this weapon is that the large # of shots tells shooters where you are, so remember move and evade.

    MP5s were not only supplemented by AR-15s, but also PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine) rifles.

    It's very hard to purchase a Famas rifle, but here in Alaska, I know where I can go out and, with the right IDs, birthdate, and other paperwork, purchase an MP5k variant, minute a stock, which only fires in a single round fashion. Still cool to have though :stuck_out_tongue:

    Nice job Evil. Research was spot on, and I remember when you did the MSR at my request :wink:

    Famas + Deagle is a pretty good combo for a person close to lvl 30 but not there yet.

    I used to use this gun all the time before I unlocked skully, I am going to use it on my alt when I unlock. The Famas is a very underrated gun, It deserved more credit.

    I like all this but
    I will not have the second-most hilarious gun (first being flamethrower, ofc) diminished by misleading characteristics.

    You should change the graph to include "burst rate" in addition to fire rate, since the lemantation undoubtedly shoots quite a bit faster than the skullcrusher or famas, in terms of RPM.
    Nice analysis though. Keep it up!

    You forgot the OP-ness of barret. It seems bad, but if you become a real head-shot sniper than it's almost as good as iso, but way cooler because it ain't iso.

    m16 = famas = skully? I remember I was so bad with the famas i legit went model or msr every round until iso.

    That in the texture pack is an ump 45, not an mp5.

    There is no gun I don't use... I use everything because it's more fun then, it's not fun to just kill everyone too easy.

    Btw, do you know much about guns or did you just googled everything? :stuck_out_tongue:
    Start in a shoting club and you will know so much more.

    Another unused gun is the MSR. It is my sniper of choice because of its firerate and quick reload. MSR + Python is one of the best combos in the game imo.
