    Exactly! Oracle is right.
    Most people think DoX'ing is okay, yeah sure releasing someone's personal information and potentially ruining their lives is okay but being permanently banned from a Minecraft server because of doing said offence is a no no.

    I don't think you would want your family members to have their social networks spammed.

    DoXing is a severe invasion into the privacy of other players, so yes, the punishment may be a permanent ban. Some people are uncomfortable with their private life being exposed online, especially because removing this information is impossible.
