What is your in-game name? - My in-game name is RyGuy88228.

Have you changed your name in the past? If you have, please list them. - I have changed my name 6 times in total. The change history can be seen below.

Does anyone else have access to your Minecraft account? - No, no one has access to my Minecraft account and I intend to keep it that way.


How old are you? - I am 13 years old, born March Sixth of 2003.

What time zone are you in? - I am in the Eastern Standard Timezone (UTC - 5:00)

Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? -

I am partially multilingual. Like the majority of other players, in school I am taking a language, which is Spanish. I know enough Spanish to hold a basic conversation, which I have done in-game, but I do not believe I will need to often.

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? - The game of Minecraft was first purchased by me on January twenty ninth of 2013. I was immediately intrigued, playing every day. I soon found myself frequently building big, ugly bases and fighting these crazy monsters. This blocky world was soon to be paradise. I was always on single player, and I was enjoying it so much! Soon, I got in to watching youtubers on Minecraft from one of my friends. He showed me many things that I know about Minecraft. When I got into creative mode, I built these gigantic redstone creations! I learned about ticks, command blocks, redstone delays, and a lot more! While being on youtube learned all these things, I became fascinated in multiplayer. I first joined the server called Perception Gaming, which was the first server I was ever a staff member on. Than, a youtube video got me involved in a server called Multiplayer Servers. I was amazed by their guns on the mc-war server, and then I was hooked.


About 3 months after joining Multiplayer Servers, I achieved prestige one on Mc-War, I joined the forums around August of 2013. I then preceded to make a lot more friends because of the forums, which improved my in-game experience due to all the friendly characters on the forums. I eventually became a frequent poster on the forums, making many new friends. Staffing was very uncommon back then, but I still desired to help the server. After creating this goal, I did not post another terrible application, but constantly helped players on the server, forums, and teamspeak, striving for my goal.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - I have plenty of experience on the staffing position of the totem pole. On about the second server I ever joined, I committed to that server. I soon found myself climbing their ranks, from trusted all the way up to the rank of administrator. I was once demoted from administrator to trusted due to the fact that I really did not know what an Administrator was way long ago. However, those fantastic owners of that server taught me what it really meant to be a staff member, and I learned a very important lesson. I have then seen myself staff on many other servers after the sad closing of my second server. This has also helped me on my journey. I have learned quite a lot about staffing, and am ready to use my knowledge to commit to Brawl.

Here are some servers that I was a staff member on, that have helped me quite a lot on my journey:

I was a Developer for this server by the name FireBox MC. This owner hired me to be in charge of all web developing, which I was very successful at. I had engineered a full website just for them, which I also had to manage, as well as doing by duties as an administrator in-game.

I was a moderator on the server blazecraft, which also taught me a lot. This was a server with multiple mini games, in which I each had to join. This would help me on Brawl because, if I do get fully accepted, I will end up being a global moderator. This means I will have to moderate all different servers, which I will do on Brawl.


What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? - I feel like I would provide a lot to the community. I would provide a very happy Junior Moderator, who would be constantly active. I would provide a very happy and helpful personality to the community, and I would also provide a lot of activity



Have you ever used a hacked client before? - I have never used a Hacked Client before.

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? - I have never been banned off of a Minecraft server.


What do you consider your greatest strength? - I consider my greatest strength to be my ability to keep calm. In crazy situations, I would be able to stay calm and help everyone out.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - My greatest weakness is my ability to differ a situation where you need to be professional from a situation where you can have fun. Sometimes, I do have slips in immaturity, and I do try and keep those to a mininum.


How active do you consider yourself on Brawl? - I consider myself extremely active on Brawl, which includes Slack, Teamspeak 3, the forums, and on it’s servers. I have Slack and Teamspeak 3 on my phone, and I can also access the forums on there, which means I can easily be on in a flash. Also, while I am in-game, I constantly have Teamspeak and the forums open, so I can view everything.

Which Brawl servers are you most active on? - I am most active on Minecraft Party.

How many hours can you provide a day and during what time frame? - I can mostly provide around 2 hours of activity on everything concerning Brawl. I will mostly be in-game from anywhere in between 3-9 PM, but I can check the forums and Slack much more frequently. I can get on teamspeak anywhere from 3-9 PM.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule in-game? -

Glitching: If someone was glitching. They would be warned. If they were close to winning the gamemode, I would kick them, and then explain when they re-join.

Hacking: If someone is hacking, I would record them using Game Bar. Then, I would ban the user for an hour, and report it to an administrator

Spamming/Caps: If someone was spamming or using excessive caps, they would be warned through PM. If they continued, they would be muted for 10 minutes.

Flame/Disrespect: If someone was flaming, I would use the same protocol as if they were spamming or using caps.



What would you do if someone breaks a rule on the forums? - If someone broke a rule on the forums, I would send them a Private Message. In that message, I would tell them what rule they broke, and I would show them the forums rules. I would also make sure that they know this is there first and only warning. After that, warning points would be given from this scale:

What would you do if someone breaks a rule on TS3? -

Mic Spam: If someone was mic spamming, they would be warned through text chat. If they continued, I would put them on forced push to talk, or I would mute them depending on the situation.

Malicious Links: If a user was posting a malicious link, they would be recorded, and then banned from the teamspeak for an hour.

Trolling: If someone was trolling, they would be warned twice, then banned for 10 minutes.

Excessive Language: If someone was using excessive language, they would be warned, then kicked for 15 minutes.


Situation (as a staff member): You log on Brawl, and you’re told that there is a huge, game-breaking economy glitch. No Admins are online to solve the situation. What steps would you take to handle the issue? - First, I would immediately post on the Staff Chat in Slack. I would detail the glitch, and I would try and keep calm down. I would give warnings in chat for people to stop abusing in chat. If people are trying to tell others how to do the glitch, I would clear the chat, then warn the person. If they keep going, they would be muted. While doing this, I would have my recording software running, so I can keep track of anyone abusing the glitch and have proof of them doing it. If you were caught abusing the glitch, you would be banned for 1 hour and then reported to a higher up. I would continue doing all these things until a solution to the glitch has been found.


How many Brawl staff applications have you submitted in the past? - I have only submitted 6 Brawl applications.

What is the date of the last application you submitted? - My last application submitted was on April 5th, 2016.




Do you have a working microphone? - Yes, I do have a working microphone.

Are you able to record and upload videos? - I am able to record and upload videos.


Do you generally know how all the staff member commands work? - I do believe I have a good understanding on how all staff member commands work.


Anything else we should know about you? - My name is Ryan. I am a regular 13 old kid who has been with Brawl for around 3 and a half years. Brawl has always had a special place with me, as I have many friends on Brawl who I can always come and play with. Becoming staff has always been my goal, and it has been a goal that I have strived for throughout my time here. When submitting this application, I truly believe that I am ready to be a Junior Moderator.

I completely lost interest in Wild West, and the lack of Party mods had no impact in my decision to apply for Party Moderator. I applied for Party because it is a server I enjoy playing, and it's a server I want to help grow and be the best it can be.
