L120 Isolator nerf/rework

yeah!! If we nerfed iso, noobs would love it!! The the skilled players would become skully/minigun sprayers !

Most good players on War can one shot you or kill you just as fast with a python as they can with an iso... Why don't you get the python nerfed instead. (Sidenote) in the first post the guy said that its a scientific fact that being hit by a bullet in the leg or foot will not kill you, but that's not true. If you were shot with a Barret 50.cal (which happens to be a tier 3 gun in War) in the leg in real life, you would not have a leg left and would almost definitely die within minutes of bleeding.

Well, the isolator isn't a gun in real life, so why shouldn't it be unrealistic?

Like @HottestGamerGirl said, clicking 2 buttons repeatedly isn't hard at all. If you find it difficult to do this, I don't know why you're still playing FPS-styled games. Anyway, 1.84 KDR doesn't mean you know anything, and neither does being level 60+ (not trying to insult, as I'm level 60something with a 3.something KDR). Not trying to be mean here, but level and KDR mean nothing when compared to knowledge.

I admit, but it takes some practice to master the fast left-right-left click action, and multitask that with accuracy and movement management.
You're over describing this. Here's how it goes: *spots target* *left click, move mouse, right click, enemy dies* Rinse and repeat.

 

I personally like the idea of a 50 cal, Chemgun, or rail gun...kind of badass in my opinion.

I'm trying not to insult, but nobody really thinks they are reasonable points (although I do agree with the last one)...

So as for your first change, the reason the iso is not forgiving to people who spray and camp, is because no decent player should be camping in the first place. Why should we change the game for the players who care and put time/money into it, for the players who everyone hates (campers and sprayers) Also, its not possible to spam an iso. The fire rate is way to slow.
Now, for your second change, iso is an excellent gun to counter sprayers or backstabbers. Being able to spin around and one shot somebody who is spraying you is an extremely useful ability to have. Personally I believe that not enough people can do this that we can really justify nerfing it. The people who can do this have spent some time practicing it and it really would not be fair to them to take that away from them. If you want to counter someone who can one shot you, learn what a headshot is and one shot them.
For your final reason, I do agree that there should be some kind of recoil. but most people scope, shoot, and then unscope so fast that it really wouldn't affect anything to have recoil. So this would completely pointless to any decent iso user.

 

Ya I don't know if maybe you don't pay attention to other players when you're in game, but most of the people who get the best match kdr's and best overall kdr's are people who spend a lot of time camping, spamming, and spraying-because it works. Also, with it's ammo count, even without perks it's very easy to spam with, especially if you're camping. As far as using it to counter 'sprayers', 'backstabber's [and I'll add targeters], git gud. Most of the other snipers/upper tier load outs can just as effectively do the same if you have any skill-Iso just doesn't require that skill. It's super easy to quickscope with Iso because you can hit anywhere and get the same effect as anyone who can actually aim. The argument people who don't like Iso basically boils down to the fact that at a higher level you unlock this gun that just essentially is too good/requires too little skill to use when compared to most other available loadouts.

 

I agree. Its not like the Barret .50 Cal does the same thing.

 

I don't know what aimbot client you have been using, but nobody else can just aim "anywhere" and quickscope some1 with an iso....

 

Some people use only blinders, so don't pay attention to that.

 

Lel way to ignore the rest of the argument, but to clarify: you don't have to even try to aim for a headshot with Iso, you can literally drop the shot anywhere on the body of your target.

 

Um, we kinda clarified that about 3 years ago Cancelled.... getting "gud" as you said really doesn't do anything if someone backstabs you with a shotgun... whether you are level 10 or 160 you are still dead. Also, there was nothing in your post that was event slightly relevant to the conversation as we confirmed everything you talked about like 3 years ago. You are basically bringing back the argument that noobs don't like the iso. You can grave dig through about 3 years of posts on people whining about the iso. Don't post about things we already confirmed and really don't care about. HottestGamerGirl made real and good points about it. You just repeated what all the noobs say when they are mad on War.

 

Hahaha, running out of ideas? if you had 'got gud' maybe you would pay attention to your surroundings and wouldn't get snuck up on . Also my post had everything to do with this post and what had been said already, but you're right, this argument has happened here in the forum since Iso was made what it is now. And yes new people hate iso because it's op but its only noobs and tryhards who love it.

 

At least we can agree on this: Iso takes almost 0 skill to use.

They like it because it's the only gun they can get kills with.
