The Past

Reverse answer: the thing that has changed are the players. I occasionally got annoyed when players were "praised" just because they nuked, though they just sat in one place shooting a gun. (That was soo easy because servers had normally 40+ players and 80% of them were running noobs, so it was amazingly effortles to get kills.) Nowdays one has to move to get kills in a .5 noob to 30+ ratio, thus revealing the ones that actually have sone skill.

It was just sad to hear accusations of me camping, even by atm "pro players", just because everyone else did it.

 

Do you mean, going back in time just to play a game again? XD

 

There used to be 16 servers, I remember only playing on server 16 until I got to level like 25 then I joined QAID who's server was server 4, then when everyone in that team became inactive I eventually started playing on server 1 and 2 until I migrated to WarZ, I still find war fun but man only having 30 players spanning 4 servers is sad, at one point in brawl 3/4 of those servers would have been filled. I wish there was some way to bring war back from the dead.

I used to like all the player and having them on. There are so few players now days it's a let down.

The culture was bad then too but with more players the games were fun.

Im still here, just not as active.

 

• A smaller community. People were really kind, we were all kind of naive... it was sort of an innocent state, back when it was just a cool, fun minigame. Few tryhards, we all knew each other, it was chill, etc. But to be fair, that was back when Minecraft was just becoming a big thing, back when it was actually a cool game.
• Weapon balance. I know this seems a little random, but hear me out. Back before the prestige weapons were added, the weapons didn't have perfect balance, but they were much more balanced then. I think the weapon balance from 2013-present has largely contributed to the toxic community that ruined War for me. There's so many arguments (or rather, there were) about OP weapons, UP weapons, being a tryhard, being a noob, etc... it's all because of that intentional imbalance.
