Stacked Mobs and Damage

    I was just wondering, and direct me to the thread if this question has already been answered, but why does damage only affect the first mob in the stack?

    For example, if there is a group of stack mobs in a spawner/grinder, only the first mob will fall and be able to be one-hit. The other mobs will be at full health and need to be killed regularly. In the older servers, all mobs of a stack were affected by the fall damage, and were one-hittable.

    Is there any way to fix this? Or could the server be reset to such a setting as it would make farming much easier?

    Stacked mobs are an abomination. I lost 10 villagers (read: 250 levels) because a new villager was born and autostacked an entire village I moved.

    Agreed - The stacking plugin is horrible. There are so many glitches and with some MOBs its just useless for them to stack - Villagers, Horses, Wolfs etc. Catching stacked MOBs with eggs - Removes the whole stack...

    In answering your question it is definitely possible to make each MOB have a saved health - so all MOBs would be 1 hit after falling. Whether it will be added is another matter. I know @0racle is not a fan of the stacking plugin so it may be removed.

    There is a setting in the most stacking plugins config.yml where you can select what types of damage one shots stack, I guess it's set to fall which is default.

    pretty sure brawl is using custom coded plugin
