Ideas to make WarZ good again

What's the point of this post?

To avoid being reported, I will suggest something - how about airdrops are brought back with a smaller player cap?

 

we can't, people are growing up, maturing and realizing that brawl and minecraft aren't fun

 

What you really need to ask yourself is: how has WarZ changed? Skaters post is perfect.

 

Nah, does WarZ deserve a redemption?

 

I would like to see airdrops, new guns, nerfed zombies, and maybe even a new map. All of these ideas would Make WarZ Great Again!

tl;dr, this post is pointless and doesn't add anything to the situation on WarZ.

 

Nothing will make WarZ great again, all the great players have left to get on with life and left the memories behind. Plus, Brawl has corrupted itself as well as WarZ. So I recommend to just pack up shop and move on. WarZ is dead.

 

On the contrary, its really not dead... same amount of ranked players for like the past 2 years

 

WarZ has lost players due to a lack of updates. Unless your "idea" is a massive overhaul or giant update, such as the one that was added in June of 2014 which was the original reason WarZ had 40-50 players on each server. Simple ideas such as airdrops aren't going to make people want to come back to this.

In my opinion, this thread looks as you are trying way too hard to get Moderator, which you won't. You replied to one person's idea after this was posted, and it was a Moderator. Please, stop farming posts and try-harding. It's very annoying, no-one enjoys it.

 

Politely ask for updates, raise interest in getting updates. This thread is pointless otherwise.

 

- New AntiCheat. Although Brawl is sentimental about BrawlBot it takes way too long for it to autoban. I suggest getting NoCheatPlus build 1030 (latest) as they have made a patch for virtually all modes of speed hacking (BHop, yPort, TrendE, GroundPort, LongJump, etc)

- Better advertisement. I know Brawl isn't making a ton of profit currently but I know it's still possible to get some advertisement out. Get in contact with some Youtubers, and try to buy spots on server lists. It helps, has helped, and will help Brawl.

- Tiny updates to the game to make it look more lively. I suggest:

• adding some sort of command like /safeloot or /safespawn where you spawn in any random zone between 2-3 (rare chance of 4)
• you can loot the zone with an invincibility timer
• However, people can't shoot you nor can you shoot them or leave the boundaries of the zone.
• Also, if another person comes into the zone while you have safeloot on, they can't shoot you nor can they get within a 30 (might have to change this to make it more balanced. we dont want safelooters camping an entire zone) block radius of you.

- Zombies. Their damage is fine but with their current speed they're a bit too overpowered. I suggest lowering the speed a bit.

- Chests. Buff the rates of items like diamond armor to a certain extent where it's easier to find it for new people.

- Tutorials. Inside of the announcer, add a line where it says things like "WarZ Tutorial: <link>" or "Don't know how to combo guns? Go here for a tutorial! <link>" I feel like this would help people get a good feel of the current state of WarZ.

- A CHAT FILTER. Now I know we have /censor and all of that but I personally believe words like "cancer, cancerous, trash, garbage, kys, kill yourself, ez" and other overused insults used by most WarZ players needs to be blocked without a way to toggle. It would help the community get rid of some toxicity but not all.

if your message contains "ezpz" or "ez" it says "Please be respectful to other players."

Respect is what we need.

Not necessarily. I believe I gave some good ideas to help out.

 

What NMH was saying is that chickenhead didn't give any ideas, and didn't add anything to the discussion by posting this thread, rendering it a pointless farm post. His mod app is currently in progress, so it makes perfect sense that he wants to get more posts and be more active on the forums (I was the same way when I applied for mod, but at least I didn't deny it).
