    I think why brawl lacks players, is because there is no noob friendly stuff at all. So I'm quite happy we will loose it. Makes the game more of a challenge. And playable for new people. Instead of getting spawntrapped by GSG every single game.

    War 2.0 is going to be a completely new gamemode. When its up, there will be a legacy War server, where you'll still have your levels and donations.

    It's literally the BETA of BETA (Alpha) :v Normal players will be allowed to play the BETA version (what was VIP+ for Wild West).

    I think it's a good choice since it might give Brawl some extra mulah, and this version is mainly for bug testing (even though BETA is also for that). This "update" also shows us that 2.0 is actually #now and not #soon, so we annoying Brawlers wont b*tch about 2.0 as much.

    Good point but ranks get an advantage. Therefore, if they had made it completely unbalanced so that people who aren't premium don't stand a chance, they wouldn't know about it until after the release, and it would stay like that until an update. A possible situation is that new players would join, be driven away by this, and not come back, giving brawl the misguided reputation of a server that demands money. If this were to happen, war would be just as dead as before. As for the money part, brawl could stay make money by for example maybe ranks get to play BETA for twice as long before it is closed off for the week.

    That did not happen for WildWest not KitPvp, both had closed BETA testing, and that was the whole time until the final release and not just this first short part.
    And look at KitPvp, doing pretty good isnt it? Well you cant actually know if it would have been even more successfull without this closed BETA testing.

    But having BETA testing fully open wont be good either. Then new players will try out a gamemode with a lot of bugs and glitches instead and quit and give a bad reputation that Brawl got unfinished gamemodes instead.

    I think this way is the best possible, not just because of what I just said but also that they know VIP+ players are more dedicated to the server since they spent money on it and therefore will both give more feedback and there are smaller chanses that they just quit.
    Not to mention that much more percentvof VIP+'s actually read the chat and notices that the game is in a BETA stage. Many players doesn't read the chat (atleast they dont use it) and therefore wont understand that its not finished. (This end fits in somewhere higher up lol this is what happens when you just write :stuck_out_tongue:)

    We're not completely stupid; we're not going to advertise a server that isn't fully released yet. We will not be attempting to attract any new players until the gamemode is open to everyone.
    So, this would mean ranked players get to play War 2.0 in beta for longer? Which is already the case?

    Yes, longer then zero minutes and zero seconds is already the case.

    Very good point. I am convinced, closed beta is better. Good writing by the way.
