    So random people I came up with an idea just recently for new roles. Roles have been suggested for a while now and on trello I think it says that it is for future updates. You would be able to change your role for 5k and whenever a new player joins the game after the tutorial they can choose a role. Well it would be cool to have some of these roles below.


    Assassin: Idea 1 (my main idea): Lore: "(Neutral) Work in the dark to serve the light. Spawn with black (assassin) leather armor (full leather set). In a light level of 3 or less you will be invisible while crouching. (Smoke particles will appear so not completely invisible, only works with leather armor).

    When hitting an enemy in the back you don't go rogue, nor gain bounty. When shooting someone from 20 blocks away or more you don't go rogue, nor gain bounty. You take 1.5x more damage. When sprinting for 10 blocks without walking you gain speed 1. Take no fall damage."

    Idea 2: (same as all of the rest, excluding the rogue and bounty parts) You can't go rogue but you gain 2x more bounty.


    Fighter: Lore: "(Neutral) Fight like you mean it. Permanent resistance 1. Gain strength 1 and regen 1 at 3 or less hearts for 5 seconds. Spawn with a diamond chestplate instead of a leather one. Spawn with an iron sword (whatever it's called?). Spawn with 10 apples instead of 10 bread."


    Druggy: Lore: "(Criminal) Don't do drugs kids (jk the real one is) It's time to get hooked. Have a 25% chance to gain a buff when doing drugs. Drugs do 2x less damage. Coco and tobacco have a 50% chance not to give wither or poison. Spawn with 3 wild grass, 3 coco, 3 poppy, 3 shrooms, and 3 tobacco. Process drugs 0.3 seconds faster. Harvesting drugs is 2x more likely to get extra drugs. Gain 2x less bounty from drugs (2 drugs = 1 bounty rather than 1 drug = 1 bounty). Wild grass has a 25% chance to give resistance 1 for 10 seconds. Coco has a 25% chance to give speed 2 for 10 seconds. Poppy has a 25% chance to give regeneration 2 for 10 seconds. Shrooms have a 25% chance to give absorption 2 (4 absorption hearts {I think}) for 10 seconds. Tobacco has a 25% chance to give strength 1 for 10 seconds.


    Hunter: Lore: "(Neutral) I will look for you. I will find you. And I will kill you! Spawn with full leather and a (new item) Hunter's rifle and 16 rifle ammo. Hunter's rifle does 1.5x less damage than a carcano and has the same fire rate. Whenever you come within 20 blocks of someone in chat it will say, "You hear someone nearby." When you hit someone you can crouch to put on Hunter's aim for 5 seconds. This will make your rifle bullets curve toward the enemy. Take 1.5x more damage than normal players. Take 2x less fall damage."


    Miner: Lore: "(Semi-Legal) I'm your friendly old neighborhood miner :grinning:. Have 2x more chance to get extra ores. Permanent haste 1. Process ores 0.3 seconds faster. Pickaxes cost 50% less. If you get arrested and have ores on you it automatically counts those ores and puts them into -bounty so lets say you have 60 coal and you get arrested with 320 bounty. Each coal ore is worth -5 bounty so when you get arrested you only have to mine off 20 bounty."


    Criminal: Lore: "(Criminal) Don't want to mess with me. Criminal can deal drugs himself to druggies and gain 5 more gold per drug. Spawn with a mauser and 16 ammo. Red gamertag. Sheriffs can arrest on site. Gains 2x more bounty for getting arrested with drugs. Robbing conductors gives 2000 gold instead of 1500 gold. Can rob banks with his mauser and gain 3000 gold. Takes 5 minutes to rob bank. Doesn't take from real players bank. After 2000 kills you become The Boss."


    The Boss: Lore: "(Head-Criminal) I want him dead in 24 hours. Get to work. Criminal's can't hurt The Boss. The Boss spawns with full indian, diamond chestplate, and a T-Gewehr. The Boss has a bold red gamertag. The Boss can right click criminals to go into a GUI to order them to go kill someone. If they refuse he can kill them. If they accept and they are ordered to kill a certain criminal then they can kill that criminal. Criminals can track The Boss. Sheriffs can KOS or COS (cuff on sight) The Boss."

    Double Agent: Lore: "(Optional) Yes I'll kill him... the next hour... Ill help you put him the slammer. Shows as a criminal to other criminals and The Boss. Shows as a sheriff helper to sheriffs. Can't kill criminals, The Boss(es) or sheriffs. Can try to manipulate sheriffs to pay him to bring a criminal or The Boss(es) or tpa a sheriff to him and get payed by a sheriff OR can get payed by The Boss(es) to kill someone. Can deal drugs to druggies and other ciminals."


    Sheriff Helper: Lore: "(Legal) Can help sheriffs by being payed to kill a rogue or to tpa a sheriff to arrest someone doing illegal activities.


    I hope you liked my ideas and will vote +1 on the poll. (I think I went color blind today toward this kind of black because it looks green to me ._.)​

    Wouldn't them be kits instead of roles?
    Also they kinds don't fit ww too much imo and some of them would need a serious nerf.

    They shouldnt spawn with different items, but should have benifits though. The current starter kit is fine.

    I feel like some of these roles are unnecessary, but some of them have good potential!
    Why not? Wild West is role-playing game, and the only two current roles are bandit and sheriff. The more variety, the better, though this could make the game less newbie friendly.

    Btw guys for The Boss I meant 200 kills not 2000...

    Roles were an idea for a while now I just thought if they were added these should be added.

    These fit the game, they were all actually a thing in the old west. Also what needs debuffs guys I need your feed back.

    Most of these kits need a MAJOR nerf.

    Assassin: What if I have particles turned off (I don't). He/she would be completely invisible and I wouldn't know where they are and no bounty? What if a sheriff arrests me with a bunch of drugs, do I still get a bounty? Too OP.

    Fighter: When do you get strength and regen? Permanent resistance 1! That puts the enemy at a uge disadvantage if you have the same gear.

    Druggy: I don't really see a problem with this. When processing, if I run to chase someone, do I keep my buff and if so, for how long?

    Hunter: I'm pretty sure it's quite hard to curve bullets (to programme, I mean). Other than that, I see this being ok.

    Miner: Okay.

    The Boss: Way too op. You just gave 2 of the most expensive things for free. 'If they refuse, they can kill them'- It seems to give you a lot of power. So yeah, way too OP

    Double Agent: Pointless

    Sheriff Helper: Pointless

    Assassin and no particles? Deal with it I mean look at smoke bomb MP domination. Yes you still get a bounty ._.
    Fighter: You get strength and regen at 3 hearts so you can still die but if you get a combo it can be fatal. And resistance 1 is like 30% less damage not that big of a difference it's only 1 more shot of a T-G.
    Druggy yes and for 10 seconds.
    Hunter: Yes it is hard to curve bullets. But we all know that Mario is the best coder of all time ._.
    The Boss: I've played since reset I still only have like 500 kills. Maybe nerf the indian armor to leather armor.
    Double Agent
    Disadvantages: You can't kill criminals unless ordered to. You can't kill sheriffs unless ordered to.
    Advantages: Since criminals can't hurt each other supposedly you can catch a criminal by surprise. Same for sheriffs and sheriff helpers. And you can get money from both to see which pays more and just choose the better one. You can't be hurt by criminal's either unless you attack them or reject the boss.

    Assassin: So let me get this straight, when you crouch you go completely invisible but all you can see is some smoke particles. What if I have particles turned off? I wouldn't be able to see them at all and they could easily sneak attack/hide.
    Hunter: He may be a great DEV but it still would be difficult.
    Boss: Why would I want permission to kill someone, I would rather just kill them.
    Hunter: Same problem, if I wanted to go kill people, I don't want to get permission from other players to tell me who I can and can't kill.

    I already suggested my 'roles' in other thread (I call them kits though).
    I think these kinds of kits should be foccused in the variety of guns and equipment instead of giving them habilities. We already have the skills for drug proccessing 'boosters' and stuff.

    Assassin Deal with it... but seriously deal with it. And the point of an assassin is to assassinate their opponent nerd. It's not like they're ganna hide in plain sight not invisible...
    Boss some people might prefer otherwise. And you got hunter with criminal mixed up. Criminal spawns with some gear and is allied to the boss unlike ANYONE else.

    They're not kits they are roles.

    Roles suggest that they are not gaining anything. I had the role of a sheriff and that role was to capture people doing illegal things but a sheriff kit is what I physically get to capture them. Hunter gets his rifle to do his role which is from his kit.
