How did you guys start playing war?

I played a lot of Star Wars Battlefront II prior. So when I got interested in Minecraft when it got big, I tried to find some Star Wars themed servers and mods. I eventually found a Minecraft Call of Duty server, and although it wasn't Star Wars, I figured it was worth trying.

a player called gandalfthegreen2 told me about this server and i played a bit with him and got to lvl 8, I then quit and came back a few weeks later and started playing (i've also had a lot of breaks)

Started playing war back in 2014. then my account got blocked by Mojang and i didn't have the transaction code anymore so RIP Online_Owner. and i basiclly quit war
Started palying war again in 2016.

 

I started playing back in 2012 when my old neighbor was downloading servers onto my server list

 

Don't even remember when I started playing this game. Atleast 3 , maybe 4, years ago.

What I do remember, is that a friend of mine told me about this server. He was a fan of CoD and Minecraft and managed to find a combination of the 2. At first I kinda just didn't bother with it anymore. Until summer rolled around, and I actually started to play it a lot.

 

SSundee started playing war on youtube, and I saw him play and after that I had to check it out. Been here ever since.

 

I started playing party because of some friends that were playing it. Figured out there was a /lobby command, and the rest is history. No idea how my friends found out about party though, probably YouTube.

 

One of my accounts was originally from a friend of mine, who introduced me to War. We made a few clans such as GL4A ( Good Luck 4 All ), but we lost interest after a while. Months later, back in 2015, I had finished my first class of high school and was just chilling at the beginning of year 2. I was playing Minecraft again ( after a long break ) and stumbled across Mc-War in my server list. I regained my interest in the game and found my first friend on Brawl, rollingrolo. I had a competition with him where we challenged each other to reach level 60. He won ( ) and kinda left War for a while.

But you know what's funny? I never knew about Brawl until 2015, yet I joined in 2013. Ironic, isn't it? I typed /hub for the first time in 2 years and found out about Brawl and its community. And man am I happy that I did that, because look at where I am now.

I haven't really been in the lower levels, I took over after my brother around level 60, I've tried it some times before, I started to like it, when my brother got bored.

I took over and changed my name to TwinArmy, because I'd liked to try out to keep my brothers clan Twin alive.

I'm not sure where he got it from, I think he found MinecraftParty, than he found out the other games Brawl had at that time, he tried out War and he quit enjoyed it.
I often walked by and asked him what he played, he asked me if I'd like to try, I playd more and more often, at the same time as my brother was leaving Brawl.
I asked if I could use his account, and I got it.

That's how I got started, but as I said, not sure how my brother found it.

I remember I got home from my friends house after he was playing CoD... when I realized I wanted the game but reminded myself that I was broke af, I was like "wait a minute.... what if there was CoD and Minecraft IN ONE??!?! :O" Thats when I googled "Minecraft call of duty server" and found Brawl. Best decision I made.

 

I totally forgot how I found war, as it was just so long ago, but I do remember immediately jumping off the GTA server I was on to try this CoD server. Joined when there was first spawn and you selected your guns off signs at spawn, lol... anyone else play/remember this era of War?
