    From my time on Kit Brawl, I have witnessed many things. Also, I have had the pleasure of being able to beat some hackers before they get banned LOL. But, the main reason I'm making this thread is to rant on about laggy players. I, myself, have fought various laggy players, and it's annoying. Specially when someone has an advantage FROM BEING LAGGY. Like bro? I think there should be a way to end a match if a person's lag is to severe and it's causing the game to be unfair to the opposing player.
    • For instance, you get in a fight with a person with 500 ms and above, but instead of lagging out, then lag around you and hit you and send you flying back. While all you can do is hope you can hit them enough to give them a lot of kb, but them their delayed hits hit you like 2 seconds later and they turn that into a massive combo.
    What I'm basically trying to say is, there should be a command implemented for MODS and above to use so that they could end a ranked match without the players losing elo, or obtaining a death/kill. The MOD or higher staff member would have the decision to decide if the situation is severe enough that the player who isn't lagging is dying due to his disadvantage.

    Kind of not fair for the players who are lagging. Sure it's not fun for you but it's not like they want to be lagging.

    The real concern is equality for the people with poor ping. Obviously these are normally users that don't have very good internet, or connecting to a host that is significantly further away from their home than it should be. Regardless of which reason it is, their internet not being up to the "server's" pars in a game such as Minecraft is a little silly. Given that their experience is poor, the players around them experience is poor--I think it's fair to say I see where you're coming from; however having laggy connection to a host is not the choice of the individual, and to punish them as such I would see as a bit overkill. ^^

    Staff won't be able to be active enough to be able to monitor this constantly and in my opinion, it isn't really something that is necessary as (although it may be annoying) a player suffering from client-side lag isn't something we can really do anything about.

    What if someone gets solid 500ms 24/7? Should he be banned?
    I think "laggy" players are always there and maybe it's not even their fault.

    Never did I state that the person should be banned, I'm saying there should be a way to end a match without both people losing elo. Or obtaining a kill, or death. Both players in the match are at a disadvantage, considering one is lagging so he has more chances to lose, and the other player is getting combo'd due to the other persons lag.

    I think simply like in another you should simply move on from it. Hopefully on the Elo side something can be done and have it not deduct points if the player is able to defeat you because of their lag. I don't see anything that can be done about this and a mods job should be to determine that.

    Personally, I've dealt with laggy players and lost elo to them even though they couldn't aim... But it's still not the laggy player's fault that their hard to fight. I blame hit registration/kb registration. I'm not sure about you, but player movement is not at all close to consistent... Players sometimes take knockback, and sometimes 2 straightline blockhits put them way out of reach, and this doesn't apply to their ping at all. If knockback was consistent it'd be easier to manage, and maybe combo with it.

    It's all to do with the player when that happens though, not the server.

    It's not the player though... it's hit reg on the server, actual grindy practice servers like old kohi and nowadays badlion they get rocked... The only downside of laggy players are their delayed Kb. Can't even straight line on brawl because the hit reg is very bad
