    He is salty, and he's right to be. He got perm banned for something that makes Brawl better, when they're the ones who banned him. Kind of how I feel, but he got slammed harder than me.

    I don't think this should be called Wild West if you're doing this massive of a change. (*Note*: What i'm about to say next is simply just my opinion, don't get mad at my opinion now ;v). Some things listed are actually somewhat good ideas, but most of it, i don't, along with other people, don't like the ideas listed since they branch off too much from the original experience that Wild West has brought.

    As interesting of a topic this is, I think it would be better to discuss it elsewhere and let this thread serve the purpose that it was intended to serve. This is very important for the future of the server.

    I am excited, I actually get to see something I and multiple other players have sacrificed a bunch of time and effort for come to usefulness.

    Or maybe just make a few sinple changes..

    No one have ever explained why the myth "A complete rework is needed" is in fact true. It is just accepted as a fact without questioning.

    A few changes would do wonders. There really is no need to rework the server completely.

    Making the economy more fair while adding a team memer limit (@tr1kim), changing the /profile command(@tr1kim), making 1 team proc per base thingy (@tr1kim), and changing how sheriffs work (all kos, have to go for top team etc) (@randomcitizen1, @tr1kim ) and just a few other changes would already be enough.

    A team memer limit would certainly stop the enormous trafficking of illegal memes. Seriously though a team member limit would stop gigantic teams from ruling over processors, but cross teaming is still an issue.

    This isn't going to need a reset unless there's irreversible damage to the economy.

    I'm concerned about what the "low information" players would think. You know, the players who aren't on the forums or don't care about using the forums. They make up a good portion of the playerbase. In fact, they maybe most of the playerbase. Things just seem to happen out of the blue to them.
    It would be a good idea to advertise this thread on Wild West.

    How about balancing the game?
    I farmed stuff for 1 hour and then some douchebag just randomnly 1-shots me.
    Not as bad as War, but WW is still one of my least favorite gamemodes, because new players get backstabbed 24/7

    I've clearly stated that the game is unforgiving to newer players, and with a full eco/game rework + reset, it would become easier to actually get somewhere in the gamemode.

    This is what I mean

    Hopefully and theoretically

    If we change guns, bases, map, economy, why wouldn't we reset the server. Also, if the goal is to keep the current Wild West by making it more player-friendly, why wouldn't we give everyone a fresh start?

    I agree with this. One of the reasons I enjoy Wild West so much is because it's different from the rest. There is no tiers and instead 3 types of guns.

    Also, for guilds I kind of don't understand. Does that mean that the whole purpose of teams is removed? Instead we will just have 3 mass factions/guilds/teams?

    Teams would still be a thing (unless I missed something, last I checked teams were a thing) but factions/guilds are bandits, sheriffs, and Indians, which you would pick upon logging into the server for the first time. Each of the three guilds are like roles in a role play, or races in games. Each would have their pro's and cons.

    I think Indians are super cool, but not good enough for people to want to play it.

    Maybe if you're an Indian you get to sell drugs 1.5x more per drug. Thoughts?

    Having horses better and maybe cheaper would be good too. Giving them access to to a purely Indian "town" may be really appealing too.

    Indian camp was a thought during the whole process, but it never got built/implemented. This would provide a use for some of the Indian camp we have currently, or we could mash together a new one/couple. Indians can also use tracking when the other classes aren't, and they have super strong melee weapons and a bow that hits like a bullet train, so I don't quite see what you're getting at by saying Indian is weak.

    They don't have access to good armor, and are kos to sheriffs which is a little op. I dunno, I just feel like it would need to be buffed if people would want to play it.

    No, this might actually need a reset depending on what does through. It seems fresh enough for a fresh start if we can get it to be noob-friendly enough.

    Think of ways to prevent or hinder cross teaming. It's one of the more difficult points of this plan. I thought of reduced processing speed if any non-teamed players are in/near the base, but I'm sure you guys can think of something a little more punishing/creative than that.
    I'm hoping that the guild bases where everyone in the same guild can't attack each other will help with this. What do you think will help? Perhaps adding some sort of loot-dispensing kits with a few days cooldown that are unlocked along the way? Thoughts?
    Interesting how some people have a thing with tiers... I'll bear that in mind. And no, teams will be to fight over the two most profitable bases. The other three bases will be fought over by the 3 factions.

    First of all, I really want to thank you @randomcitizen1
    Thank you for taking in feedback and showing that you really care about Wild West! You are really showing interest in making Wild West better, and the community appreciates that.

    Okay and now for some ideas:

    Sheriffs- Stated by Verlyn, sheriffs would not need to apply on the forums and would instead be able to just pick the Guild. In my opinion, that's a little absurd. ANYONE could be able to pick sheriff and abuse anytime they wanted. Wild West really doesn't have a lot of staff on all the time. Because we all know that even staff have a personal life, and can't be on 24/7. Unless Wild West has a huge spike of staff, there will be a lot of unnoticed abuse going on. For example: -A new player decides he /she wants to be sheriff and knows he'll/she'll make a lot of money abusing it. Of course, he/she knows not to go for big players since they will report him/her. So he targets new players at the different bases, around towns, and mines.-
    See the problem? Most new players don't know where or how to report and can easily be unmotivated to keep playing.
    Yes, there are a few ways to prevent this abuse, but people will find ways to exploit the system and abuse will be much more prevalent. Yes, of course, the Sheriff Guild should be a thing, but I suggest there at least be some sort of inspection before someone is allowed to join the Sheriff Guild.

    Indians- As stated numerous times above, Indian is just not powerful enough to be appealing to new players. Yes, the idea of not being able to be cuffed is a great factor of Indian, but the weapons will most likely have not a great chance up against the Bandits and Sheriffs. Though I am not fond of the idea of tiered guns, I would be definitely all for tiered Indian weapons. Also, there should be different and multiple weapons for each tier. (If anyone plays Destiny you would know there is primary guns that are "tiered" you could say. The Auto Rifle, Hand Cannon, Pulse Rifle, and Scout Rifle are all the base primary categories.)

    BOWS
    just some rough examples of what types of bows there could be in each tier.

    Gatling Bow
    Would fire insanely quick but wouldn't do a lot of damage per arrow, has great knock back.


    Sharp Bow
    Does great damage but fires very slow.


    Rifle Bow
    Does moderate damage and fires moderately fast.

    Though these bows are not historically accurate (quite obviously), they are based on historically accurate Wild West guns. (Gatling gun, Sharps rifle, and Spencer Rifle.)


    I'd also think tiered axes would be a great addition as well. For axes, a neat idea would be the ability to throw the axe like a tomahawk. Most Native Americans didn't use axes, they used clubs as striking weapons. So if axes were to be added they should also be added with a throwing feature. I would imagine also that throwing would do less damage than attacking with an axe/tomahawk as well.
