riot shield

Detail more, the only problem with a riot shield is that it's heavy so logically you would only be able to carry pistols or small autos. Cause I don't know about you but I have never seen some guy with a riot shield in one hand and a assault rifle or sniper in the other

This idea is not very possible because how do you texture a sword to look like a big riot shield? The size of the texture is limited. I have no idea what overkill is, and i have seen a post about this before. (Like what GreySwordz said.) Just maybe think of different ways to do this. Also this is the ultimate trolling weapon, it would be EXTREMELY annoying to have everyone running around with these shields.

 

Idea! The item in your hand can be whatever, but... the riot shield itself is always shown to other players as a retextured entity of an iron door (not the item entity)! the entity can "follow" the player on the player's back when they aren't holding the shield, but when they equip it, it appears at their side. Now, when they right click, they place down an iron door in front of them, and can only slowly move forward (the door, once again, moves with the player). To attack, the above ideas of mining fatigue are good, and same with the damage.

 

I think it should take away your secondary instead of your sword.

 

Nah, primary is more balanced. It would make the perfect tank class.

 

I was thinking it would be way to OP to have both guns and a riot shield. But yeah, agreed.

 

I'm saying that riot shield should take up the primary slot. I'm not sure a explained that clearly. Did I?

I, personally, like the idea of the Riot shield replacing your sword... Although, actually, as it's a probable donator item, it should be a tactical!
