    Viking...oh goodie. Viking essentially gives you an iron sword at the start of the game, which coupled with Brawl's damage (and souplag for non-US players) is an incredible advantage.
    So, how to nerf it?
    Obviously it needs to have something to do with the kit's name, so...
    • Vikings were some of the toughest men (and women, end sexism now) of their time. Their "elite" units, the berserkers, were some of the most feared warriors of the battlefields, often seeming invincible for the battle.
    • So Vikings could get the following change:
    1. Axes do normal damage BUT receive double (!) durability. Normal as in, a stone axe is the same as a stone sword in a Viking's hands, but it has iron sword durability (essentially, give or take a few)
    2. Upon TAKING damage, Viking receives a Resistance buff for 3 seconds (Res 1).
    3. Now, before @MattM1PVP comes and screams "OP PLS NERF", the Viking receives a "Damage taken" buff (i.e. Res -1, if this is codable) upon receiving another hit from the same person.
    Thoughts?

    From what I understand, this is way too UP for Viking.

    Essentially, what I get from this is:
    > Matt hits Uranium (Viking) with a stone sword
    > Uranium gets Resistance 1 for 3 seconds and takes 2 hearts for the next hit from Matt
    > However, because Matt has Uranium in a combo, Uranium loses the two hearts, and then starts taking 3 hearts a hit as long as he is in the combo.

    I don't see a strength for Viking here.

    Hmm, good point. Maybe remove the "Damage taken" thing completely, which might be a tad OP.

    My current idea for Viking is that axe-throwing idea I saw a while back on some post. Basically, axes will do the same damage as its sword counterpart, and if an axe is thrown, if it hits a person, it will deal the number of hearts it will usually deal, and knockback equivalent to a knockback 1/2 sword. Axe can be picked up within a certain time, other person can pick up axe, cooldown, blah blah blah I haven't thought of yet

    Hmm, 1.9 is awful in exactly that aspect, so time to punish the 1.8 Viking abusers!
