Before posting any comments on this rebuking me for anything concerning costs and so on, I am totally aware that what I am going to suggest costs real money and Brawl needs to save it for present projects. This thread is therefore just a suggestion that I am sharing with everyone.

Nowadays, and as you all might know, Minecraft servers tend to centre the purpose of their servers on mini-games to prevent any sort of superiority regarding newcomers. Indeed, the fact that these latter are made for everyone is that no one is in a way able to take a very large advantage on others. Nonetheless, on Brawl, all of its servers (expect Party) and gamemodes which ask for a large amount of time playing before being capable of outclassing other players.

This fact is actually predominantly on the following servers:
    • War:
      • Frankly speaking, being a beginner on the server is way too complicated due to all of the players that mainly play with "pro" guns or donor ones. I have tried to play on an alt in order to start everything from scratch, but although that I was experimented with my main account, I kept getting shot by players who had the best guns of this server.
    • WarZ:
      • I shouldn't really add it to the list as it is a bit random on this server. In fact, you can either keep dying by teams or players with the full pieces of diamond armor or be one of the best player of your server by being lucky. Nevertheless it can get a bit annoying when it comes to fighting teams or having to travel during hours to get a kill or to succeed in finding a zone where you could get good equipments.
    • WildWest:
      • That is the same explanation as WarZ.
    • Raid:
      • That is the same explanation as WarZ or WildWest.
    • KitBrawl:
      • Due to payable kits with in-game credits, players who have played during an enough amount of time are to take advantage over beginners since kits, the more powerful they become, the more unfair they are.
    • Capture the Flag & Hardcore Games:
      • Honestly, being a new player to these both servers are a bit complicated as they have to learn all of game and classes mechanics with en eye to become better with those. But some free classes are a bit unfair when you have to come to the centre of a fight.

According to the list, there are to many servers that ask for a good knowledge and a specified amount of time in order to get better. Consequently here is my idea:

To help newcomers or to simply diversify the main aspect of the overall server, I suggest that there should be more servers based on mini-games:
    1. You don't need to learn the game mechanics, you can simply discover them by playing and taking pleasure.
    2. Everyone is on an equal footing since when a game is finished it restarts and you win anything expect credits for just cosmetics but not for kits, guns or anything that could make you overpowered.
There are plenty of ideas that aren't exploited yet concerning mini-games and it would definitely diversify and give a new breath for Brawl as it truly needs one.

The following list contains existing servers, but we can imagine others as well:
    • UHC
    • BuildBattle
    • Rush or BedWars
    • SkyWars
    • King of the Hill
    • Survival Games
    And so on...

I simply finish by a personal note, I have some plug-ins that I have coded which are mini-games and it would be a pleasure to share them with you and maybe see them implemented to the overall network.

Actually, on war and raid, theres even more significant problems than those. Tracking is just another way to screw noobs over, and the war clan system.is utter bull****.

However I agree with you on the most of this, but I would rather se brawls unique gamemodes get updated and made more noob friendly than see new servers added.

About ctf though, I dont see how its not noob friendly, but maybe its just me. Actually back in 2011 or whenever it was i first played ctf, i thiught i was an op ninja cos i thought i killed everyone with my flashbombs.

You really don't know anything about CTF so don't say free classes are worse than premium. Heavies should win most 1v1s against other classes except maybe chemist and if they are buffed they should win every fight. Soldiers have the best mobility in the game (ninjas are good but soldiers are just better at moving around). Medics are important for healing people and supporting the flag carrier. Archers can instakill people which is great for recovery.
It's really not hard to understand these games and if you find it challenging to understand then look at the wiki. These games are unique and if we just add games like uhc, skywars, why would players join brawls version? I don't think you understand at all.

We need a stress-relieved gamemode or something less driven by hate, like a co-op server.

On the topic of appealing to newer players, I've been exploring the idea of an interactive CTF tutorial, as well as a walk through for each class. It's still really early on and I haven't presented anything yet, however I'm trying to make it happen.

The problem with war isn't just how there is a lot of players with good guns, but also how most of the times they are all on the same team.

And the problems with war you stated can be solved for War 2.0, except maybe the fast placed part. If there was a tutorial when you first log in, and then balanced guns and that problem would be fixed.

Over all, I agree with you on most parts, though one thing that is exciting on war is the leveling up and unlocking new things which might be a harder thing to do for a fast paced gamemode. Not saying it's not possible but it's mostlikely harder to do so.

We used to have gamemodes similar to what you are suggesting, they aren't up and running however. My best guess, which you alluded to would be lack of funding. To my knowledge brawl used to carry fpsHG, HG, Skywars and Slither.IO, all games that aren't based like our normal servers.

Appealing to newer players is of course a difficult task. With something like CTF you can instantly just come on and play, but you won't be instantly good at it. There are a lot of different things to keep in mind, with classes countering others, having different roles, the maps and of course the PVP aspect. I imagine it's much the same on the other servers you've brought up, although of course for slightly differing reasons. It's not just appealing to new players with simple gamemodes that matters, but also properly guiding them through the more complicated ones. @Miskey has already come up with a good idea with an interactive tutorial, but I'm saying a simpler solution would just be to add more of a reference to the Wiki in game. Right now there are virtually no advertisements or server messages directing people to the Wiki if they don't know what to do. Additionally, whilst wiki players do try and direct people, we don't have a tag or a rank in-game. Since we look like regular players, younger players either choose not to follow our links in case it's a virus (or something along those lines) or just choose to ignore us entirely as we seem to be no more informed than they are. Fixes to that could be giving wiki members a title tag, or messages in game directing people to the appropriate wiki would help them find their feet in these more complicated gamemodes, and unlike your idea, wouldn't cost anything to do. I would like to see some simpler gamemodes in the future though, when we do have the money, as it would definitely appeal to newer players.

I went and read through each post in the party section and wrote down every idea, suggestion, and map submission that wasn't utter crap. We could use some of those. I included links to the original thread as well. I'm also currently doing a party survey to see just what people like to play and why. Tbh, I'm finding that people only play minigames after getting bored of the other servers here. With that said, I'm working on a solution and brainstorming newer games that challenge players, so they stay for the competitive side of it.

This is my opinion of these topics:
    • UHC - Ultra Hardcore - convert to hardcore games - already on Brawl
    • BuildBattle - Cool idea - you would need many willing players
    • Rush or BedWars - BedWars name seems to be a play on words - Rush as a name doesn't sound interesting - could call it 'CommandWars' using command block instead of bed for example - good idea
    • SkyWars - was already on Brawl - discontinued- I would like to see it back
    • King of the Hill - Minigame on Party and HG - would like to see it by itself
    • Survival Games - see UHC opinion
Another good idea would be Tower Defense - use towers to defend against mobs.
Also Sky Giants is good - see link: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/skygiants-minigame-skygiants1058.29803/
