    Hey, forums. I had a suggestion for Minecraft Party that I thought could be a great addition to the game mode; a skip option. Yep, that's right. Instead of players having to go through a map they don't like, if a majority of players want to skip the map, it can be skipped. This option will give players a voice in the maps they want to play. What do you guys think? Would /skip be a good command for party?

    I'm not sure about how good this would be, but it could be good for reaserch of what people like to play. What could happen is that the same gamemodes are always voted to be skipped, which means a majority of the party playes dislike to play that certain gamemode and maybe therefore it should be removed anyways. Another thing is the fact that there are just 10 seconds in between the games so many players, especially new ones, might not get the time to remember the gamemode and vote.

    However, I still think this idea should be tried out in game. Either this or voting about weather you like the maps or not, then if some maps are found to be less enjoyed then they can be removed/remade. I see this as a way of communicating with the community to make Party better, rather than just to make the game more enjoyable by skipping maps.

    I don't know how I feel about this. During the night it's not uncommon for there to be 4 or 5 players online and that's it. What would happen if some people just want to troll and skip every map? Or wh as t would happen if someone has their friend and they team up to get that majority count? If that happens, I think there will be a lot less people playing just due to the fact that their favorite minigames can literally be skipped over.

    There can be limitations put on it. For example, you may not skip a map if you skipped it previously; you must wait until the next time the map comes around before passing it. Furthermore, if a person and his/her friends wanted a certain map, nothing would be wrong with that as long as a majority want to play. Besides, I've noticed most players tend to hate the same game as well.

    Any maps which people would want to skip shouldn't be in the gamemode anyway.

    I agree totally!! Maybe there should be a /Y or /N option like with CTF where players can vote on maps.

    I still think party needs a revamp, and making a thread about what games the community wants and doesnt should be first on the list

    I wrote up a doc recently after I went through and read every single post in the party section, writing down good ideas and suggestions, as well as some cool maps to check out. I'll be making another post soon, asking people to take a short survey over what they wanna see from party.

    Taking this to a further, more deeper ( :') ) level, I think skipping could possibly be a selling point for party players to buy a premium class. Party struggles to entice people to buy ranks, my proposition would be a cool down on /skip. ELITE, every five games. MVP, every 10 games. VIP, every 15 games, And Normal every 25 games. With there being a cool down it would also minimize the abuse of /skip.

    It should be /skip command to buy track on a shop for 1.99 dollars or 0.99

    Are you suggesting 1.99 or .99 per skip or the ability to use the skip command permanently? Either way in my opinion there will have to be a cool down in order to prevent abuse of the command.
