What do you want for WarZ?

1: Good staff are hard to come by. Of course, we need more, but there are very few people currently who could handle it.
2: A version of /team could help, but it would upset some players.
3: We do need to have more events, and if you have any good ideas for events (anyone reading) be sure to post it!
4: There are a lot of things going on, and a new map will take quite a while. Nonetheless, we do need a new one.
5: Agreed, more giveaways and events are needed. Once more, be sure to post any of your suggestions under ideas!

about the events..

since there was a new zone 6 recently added, i was thinking about this new way to have events. this will be a team event however. like the new zone 6, "milita," there is an underground tunnel system. what i was thinking is that there should be a maze system, leading to a cornucopia, FILLED with chests of loot and rare items. however, this maze will be big enough to where there will be all kinds of mini fights. there could be areas in the maze that could be campable, escapable, and fightable. this type of event would be something new to the community, and very fun.

this was just off the top of my head btw, needs more explaining for you guys to get the real picture of what i'm trying to say.

 

I totally agree with you that WarZ needs changes but here's the issues we currently have! :

1. Expanding the WarZ staff Team :
As Aboves already explained, there's not alot of people that would stand the WarZ Staff position and are qualified for it.

2. Teams teams teams... we had a /team plugin added but it was removed due to community requests. I'm sure we can do something against big teams but not currently.

3. Events always bring issues with them since we'd have to give away loot most of the times which means that Permbanned players gain free loot to hack with. That's one really big issue currently.

4. A new Map is a nice Idea but will cost time but I'm sure I can forward this Idea and add some custom Ideas to it

5. Giveaways are not easy to make because they have to be planned well a d would propably include a contest.

1. There is actually a decent size staff team, several of which will hopefully be promoted to mod soon. We have 7 WarZ specific staff members. Overkilll_, RMST1, iMacro, Sn4x5, Aboves, and GreenPeas. Now the real issue is that there are no MOD+ in our timezone.
2. Eh I tried to get rid of this, and over the past month or so I have had the smallest team out of anyone. If I ever get to a team above 5 people I split it. No questions asked. My team is generally me and 2 other people. Usually me tanner and maxxmelter, or me tanner and EchestMe.
I agree completely that teams are too big. I killed 5 3/4 and full diamonds at new army yesterday, and then I start running because NO JOKE! 5 MORE full diamonds at least #Dashed'sTeam were coming at me, so I ran the opposite way, and SURPRISE! another 5 man team waited me at the entrance. It's not a healthy environment to be solo or with one or two people anymore :L

3. This will be happening #Soon.

4. Well this would take a while but I would certainly be willing to work on one with builders and with sn4x5. Also, sn4x5 has spent a lot of time on build editing and building new stuff for warz.
5. Not really sure what you mean by "giveaways" Could you expand a little bit on this?

 

Ban the hackers?
Anywho, what do I want for WarZ? I want the hackers banned and the big teams abolished. I hope that's not asking for too much

 

I ban every Hacker I see tho lol

But permbanned players don't hack all the time or they get notifications that a Staff members is on because of their Client or simply abuse a Bug to find out that a Staff member is on.

 

People complained about the last team system. Stop whining. If you had friends you wouldn't be 12v1'd. Literally it's fine the way it is. Anyone complaining is obviously either bad at the game or lonely.

 

Well I mean I have aimbot so it wouldn't be an issue.

 

Or you're like me and known for starting trouble on the forums. In doing so, nobody wants you on their team. The community is just a bunch of toxic 14-year-old people now that use clients and don't get banned.

 

I'm on team Korea. I don't need anyone else. We have 23 members.

 

1. Contrary to popular belief, there are about 10 staff who frequent Warz
2. Why is it such a problem to have friends play together? Anyway, 10+ threads about this
3. Ya, but we don't want to give away to many op items
4.Uh, not easy and takes more than a few days

That's the size team that needs to be destroyed... Any team over the size of 5 shouldn't be allowed. If you rely that much on a huge team, you're the problem with the community. Sorry bro, hate to say it, but that size of a team doesn't reflect well lol

 

You should kill with skill. If you are good Korea isn't a problem.

 

You just don't see the problem. If we're out in the open (me vs team Korea) I'm going to lose every dang time. I could be camping and still lose. I don't care who it is; take the "best" player of warz right now and have them solo fight Korea. I guarantee they'll lose every time, camping or not. Sheer numbers win fights and I don't think you see that. Sure, skill does have a role in it on each side, but in this case, the numbers slaughter skill.

 

We're both making valid points and aren't flaming. I'd say we're fairly chill >_>
