Idea New FFA Kit Idea: Assassin

A sharp 5 diamond sword is very op and will deal a lot of damage. The armour is way too weak just like a lot of the kits at the moment which is not the liking of the players on the server as you will easily get 2 shot.

 

Its maybe may be with sharpness 1?

 

Isnt this a more overpowered ninja? Ninja has speed 2 and one leather chestplate. On top of this it possess a iron sword with a sharp 5 wood sword (deals 9.5 damage I think). However what you are suggesting would just be a super buffed ninja.

 

Ah! It's great to see people suggest ideas! Let me help you out a tiny bit though, and maybe guide you through the process of making a good class.

1. Sharp 5 will absolutely destroy everything! Sharpness 5 is the strongest sword in the game, besides the OP servers who make it over Sharpness 1000. Here at Brawl it is Vanilla so it's 5. Kit's like Tank or Brute could tank the sword but would still drop at a fast rate. Kit's like Melee would get 1-2 shot, and the more defenseless kits like Ninja would get absolutely decimated. If you want to make a class, remember it's damage has to be able to balance the whole kit out. Take Brute for example, high resistance to damage but it's ability to cause a lot of damage is reduced. Also, it's lack of speed really causes a big effect on the whole thing. Knockback I would also be stupidly annoying to fight with, or against. In KitPvp you don't want to knock your opponents further away from you while chasing them.
2. Speed II would be very OP. I say this for two reasons, one being that to chase this class you would literally have to use a class like ninja to chase it. But as I stated earlier, Ninja would get one shot due to the lack of armour, and because of Sharpness 5. Maybe try Speed I like a lot of other classes, that would balance this class out more.

 

Maybe having a short speed buff on kills but starting out with weak armor+sharp 3 or 4 sword? The speed buff would be for around 6-7 seconds. Just a thought tho
