Kit Brawl Starter Guide for New Players!

Kit Brawl is a growing community! With new players everyday. I see about 30-50 new players every week, and about 60% of them seem very confused about what they are doing. I personally, pm a lot of players explaining stuff from time to time. But most of the time, many of those players either get frustrated, or just quit due to the fact that other people out pvp them. A large problem I find about these new players is that they tend to hackusate players who might be better at pvp, resulting in a 10 minute mute. This is why I'm here! To give some tips about the chat, and a few handy FFA/pvp tips that can help out any new player that is being introduced to our pvping environment.

    1. Use /report instead of hackusating someone. Many new players tend to do this when they first join for the first 30 minutes. I have seen countless times new people who have under 100 kills call hacks on various people. If you believe someone is hacking, use /report [player] [reason/explanation]. This will keep you out of a lot of trouble.
    2. Don't insult players because they kill you! This is a massive deal, specially when new players tend to get very mad very quickly. Insulting people is something that is not taken lightly here on Brawl, and you will get punished. Also, any Death Wishes, or Swat Threats, ect. will result in a more sever punishment, that can range from a 12 hour mute to a temporary ban for violating rules repeatedly.
    3. Try warming up before going out on the FFA! Kit Brawl has features to 1v1, if you right click the Iron sword, that is for 1v1's. Every fight will impact your rating, so always keep your guard up and try your best! It consist of not just regular sword pvp, but also gun 1v1's! There is different regular pvp gamemodes, including: Archer, NoDebuff, Gapple, Debuff, Vanilla, Vanilla+ , Soup, Soup+. Do /queue to check the 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 queues. I believe it goes Iron sword, Gold sword, then Diamond sword, but I will be checking that later on.
    4. Try to play more often to develop more truces! There have been various complaints due to the fact that people due usually team on FFA. There is no rule against teaming so calling someone out for teaming would be useless. Instead, maybe try to play more often to develop more teammates. People will see that you are on regularly and start becoming friendlier with you. Don't go around just hitting everyone you see! Because that will make a great amount of people angry, and some people might go the extra step to target you. Also, if you see someone with a trail chasing behind them, that does mean they have a kill streak. As of right now, there are 4 possible kill streak trails you may buy with leveling up and obtaining credits. One being hearts, enderpearl effects, hearts, and music notes. If choose to buy MVP, VIP, or Elite from http://shop.brawl.com you can obtain great perks that looks very cool. Including some that when you kill someone they explode into the air. It is totally worth it in my opinion!
    5. Try your best! No one from the start is good at something, you get better as you go on. Whenever you fail and don't succeed, don't just give up but keep trying! Eventually you will start to retain some pvp skills, and you will get better as you keep practicing. When I started out Kit Brawl I felt horrible because I was so bad at the actual game, but as time went by, waiting and learning from you errors will prove to a very good way to obtain great pvp skills.
    6. Don't hack! Hacking will result in a lifetime ban from Brawl unless an unban is bought, or you plead your case at https://www.brawl.com/appeal/ and try to argue it with evidence. Or admitting to hacks, and waiting a month to be unbanned through your appeal. Hacking is looked down upon in our community, and if you are caught hacking, you will face the banhammer! http://https://www.brawl.com/report If you ever do find a hacker, and you have strong proof, don't hesitate to report them with the link given above! If you are caught hacking on 3+ accounts, you will be permanently IP-banned from the Brawl network, and will have to wait 6 months/half an year to be unbanned.
    7. Look up tutorials on YouTube! Looking up tutorials on YouTube isn't a bad idea to learn some handy pvp skills. Practicing them on Brawl is also a great idea! There are various tutorials on YouTube that could teach you techniques like w-tapping, s-tapping, strafing, jitter clicking, ect. the list goes on for a mile! Overtime, you, yourself, could master these great ways to pvp and become one of the top on Brawl!
Remember that not everyone is perfect when they first begin to do something. Everything comes with trial and error. Following the rules is also very important in our community, try your best to not violate any of our rules and you're set to go! If you have any questions, and see me or a mod/jmod online, don't be scared to ask questions on things. Also, if you don't see any mods/jmods on Kit Brawl, try doing /support [question], so a staff member on another gamemode like CTF, WarZ, Wild West, etc. could you. No one will judge you, specially because everyone was at that beginners point one day. Always keep in mind to never let your guard down, and no matter what, try your best on Kit Brawl! You will do good on what you set your mind too, so have a great day/night/afternoon/morning, and happy pvping my dudes/girls :snaphappy::smuggrin::wink::confused:

    p.s Hackers you don't want this work 1v1 m9 8)

Pretty sure the new players turn up and know how to PvP, but KitBrawl is crawling with hackers.

I actually choose to differ, if you actually played on Kit Brawl you would see the amount of players that have a hard time actually playing the game due to lack of skill.

I have to agree with Pat, I play on Kit Brawl and I know at least 1-3 hackers are on at a time. An addition I would've put in is a short explanation on hot keying. (Helps in soup pvp).

Oh yeah and what you said, it is hard to play without having skill.

Mods do their best to try to keep hackers off the server! This is why /report is a command, and mods usually try to get there as fast as they can. But remember, that they have a lot of responsibilities and cannot always respond right away. They could be looking at another hacker, helping someone out, etc.
