Different Weathers in War 2.0

I'm no war player but I'm pretty sure the reason the game is set to daylight is because it reduces lag compared to the other wether setting.

 

I'd like to see different weather/ different times. In my opinion it's definetely worth trying it out. Nevertheless - if the lag is too big while e.g. raining we shouldn't do it. Time should be fine though (e.g. evening, night...).

 

Ya weather would be great, sure there would be lag with rain but it be interesting to play in

 

Actually this is a great idea. Different weather conditions and time should make the game more interesting. But if we combine those two and add some more ideas should make the game dank. I've came up with some.
Let's say it is night and there are no (working) lamps around, what would you do? Flashlights on guns! This was an example, so if everything (the weather or the time) has its own role in the game then it can become such interesting that War 2 would be the top game of Brawl.
Now let's have a second example with the weather. Supposing it has snown all day and you are in an operation, how would you walk in the snow. Snow should make you slower and buying special boots will make you faster.

Now to make this less op:
Each map will always have its own specific time of day and weather conditions. A message before the battle will show the time and the weather conditions that the map will be played on. The player will have time to configure his set, add flashlights on their guns or wear snow boots for example.

What do you think of this idea? Feedback is appreciated. Would like to hear your opinions or ideas.

 

I think it would be cool to at least have snowing weather in some of the winter-themed maps. Plaza and a few other maps should be set during night time.

I like it, but as said before, lag could be a problem. Honestly, I think it would be ok, because like it rains in vanilla minecraft, so like I don't really see how that could be a problem...

 

I'd say different themes for different maps is fine, but flashlights and becoming slower while walking on snow is too much in my opinion. We should still try to be similar to the real Cod.

That would be good.. In call of duty black ops 2, plaza is a night map. In other games, it takes place in a snowy area and it is snowy.. It is a great idea

 

It would cause major lag but otherwise a good idea

 

I like this ! I think it should be added . Why not give it a try anyway ?
