Tactical & Lethal equipment realism

    Hello,

    As you all might know, both tactical and lethal equipment are not really that realistic, neither are they accordingly to Call-Of-Duty. In order to fix that, here is what I suggest to you:

    Firstly, all grenades (including molotovs and flashbangs) should affect their launcher with their respective potion effects or damages, as it is in the original game. Consequently, a grenade will damage its launcher, a molotov will make its launcher blind, a molotov will fire its launcher and so on.
    Furthermore I have noticed some issues during infect game when molotovs or flashbangs cannot give their effects to humans if they’re launched by infected. These issues cause some trouble since it becomes more difficult for zombies to succeed in killing humans. However, when it comes to blinding them or firing them, this tends to be easier as if humans are blind (as well as during an EMP), walking and seeing zombies becomes tougher.

    Besides being to use C4, infected should be able to use tomahawks. Yet, this will be harder for humans to survive, nonetheless I’m just wondering that this should be useful for zombies against ray guns and such.

    Please tell me what you think about that below!

    Why do we need realism if it takes away fun from the game?
    No one would want to use grenades and other consumable items - it's already hard enough to get a kill with one of them, the added effects would be pointless and only ruin the fun.

    Nah, I don't really like these ideas.
    Thomahawks would be more op than c4 if zombies could use them.
    And all the other things break the fun

    First of all, this implies that C4 is op as it is. It is not.
    Any competent player would camp somewhere that was more than, say four blocks from a free edge. This is not hard, especially considering the spawn locations on many maps, and that C4 no longer detonates when the person who placed it dies.
    Tomahawks in infect used to be a thing. They weren't overpowered because of the bullet drop and slow (relatively) bullet speed. They were easy to avoid with skillful positioning, and nobody ever really complained about them.
    Plus, infect is ridiculously survivor-sided. All it takes for an infuriating three to five minutes of fruitlessly throwing yourself at the enemy with extremely limited close-range attacks is a decent survivor team and a couple of camping spots.
    Molotovs, on the other hand, were pretty overpowered when they were able to instant-kill anyone in their radius on infect. They don't anymore, but the time they did made it very hard for survivors to win.

    I think that adding this will make noone use these lethals/tacticals as it affectes themselves, it would be cool to have such effects just for 0.1 sec without any damage given, like flashbang would be just a flash off blindness.

    If realism is what we're going for here, it should blind you for a lot longer than .1 seconds.

    I like your ideas. It's alwasy senseful to make the game more similar to the real Cod. But I'd suggest to make molotovs stronger in general, at the moment it's useless to attack with them. Moreover Flasbangs should trigger directly and not after 5 seconds. If you combine the changes it could create another aspect of playing.

    The (realism) changes Alg suggested have always been part of CoD.

    Wait, a molotov will blind it's launcher and fire it? Did you mean a flashbang and then burn?
    Either way, I would agree to this, not only because I don't like being grenaded during infect, but because it will lessen the use of perks and will focus more on skill and less on money/experience.

    In CoD, if the grenade has not been detonated yet, you can pick it up and throw it back so you dont get damaged from the nade.

    Zombies with tomahawks? This is my worst dream come true. Infect would be unwinnable for humans if tomahawks could be used. Think of all the good camping spots on infect maps. IMHO, c4 in infect is already a bit much (even though I abuse it) but tomahawk would make infect as hated as gungame.
