seriously. Which goddamn airlines throws a paying passenger off a plane with brute force? This is one of those things where it just makes me fill up with rage, and start to get a little lightheaded.

IF YOU'RE PAYING PREPARE FOR A BEATING

Forget military force. We could send United Airlines to drag Bashar Al-Assad out.

When the police ask you to do something, you should probably listen.

He bought a ticket, so he should get a seat.

When you're an airline, you probably shouldn't drag a paying customer off your flight for an overbooking you made, especially when that customer is a doctor who had his own clients to see after the flight.

It's like if an officer asks you to get out of your car. You bought that car, but you still gotta listen.
You make a good point about it being the airline's fault. Kills my car/plane analogy. I don't disagree with you, but still. Buying the ticket means you give them consent to remove you from the plane at any time.

An officer usually has a reason to tell you to get out of your car

"Part of the problem, at least, comes from the often-overlooked policy that allows airlines to stop passengers from boarding a plane if it's overbooked. You agree to it when you book your tickets."

I'm just telling you what I've heard from every source I've looked at.
The only mistake United made was bumping passengers what were already on the plane.

It is not the passenger's fault that United Airlines couldn't get their **** together and put their people on board before the plane was overbooked.

    It's not a "mistake". It's a violation of a person's rights.

What they should've done is reasoned with him and offered him compensation, a lot of it. They also could've asked other passengers. Someone would've taken a few grand to get off.

    > They weren't the police, just security
    > The guy paid
    > The flight wasn't overbooked
    > They could've flown the employees they "needed" to put on the flight on another plane
    > Once again, the guy paid for a seat. If I paid for a damn seat, it's my damn seat and they can find another way to fly their employees.
    > They made the man bleed
    > They threw him against the armrest and dragged the man by his arms through the aisle

They asked for volunteers. Not volunteering does not justify being dragged out by the arms and made to bleed.

United deserves sh*t for this, quit making excuses for them
