    Hello community,

    I think we should implement a 5 or so minute cooldown for /suicide. I see many players abusing this, especially to see where other players and especially sheriffs are. They /suicide on an alt, tp to the sheriff while in spectator mode, and make sure they aren't coming for their main account. Adding a cooldown would make this less abusable, and frankly there is no point to suicide twice in 5 minutes if you don't plan on abusing it. Thanks :wink:

    We could just change the spectator system instead of put a cooldown. This is much easier though. Also add not being able to suicide while cuffed

    I think he meant removing the tp function in spectator mode

    About a week and a half ago I cuffed a full diamond player and they suicided before I could inspect and ticket.

    Still a thing because bandits don't enjoy 30k bounties, so they're minimizing their losses. Suicide and lose gear, or get ticketed and STILL lose gear and have to pay off bounty.

    Adding a cooldown wouldn't help that much. Directly sending a person to jail regardless of bounty would be a better alternative, though this issue in general does need to be addressed.
