Pointless thread

Getting this thread back on track, these comments have been made and seen before. Yes, brawl is well aware that players are being lost, and yes people are a damn site more toxic than they should be both in-game and on the forums. What you're saying is a beautifully emotional (hoping this is also sincere) speech which is going to do absolutely nothing to actually making a headways in the topic. Appealing to people's feelings doesn't go well over the internet because there's empathic distance between you and other parties. For example, I don't know you IRL, you don't know cuddled IRL, she doesn't know Scapecrafter IRL and so on and so forth. Sure, some of them are highly empathic people and connect very easily with people online and face to face, but that doesn't go for everyone. This is especially the case with younger kids that can suddenly find they can get away with saying horrible stuff over the internet without being necessarily caught. What brawl needs isn't crafting speeches appealing to the feelings of players, it needs to be tougher on what is and isn't said
