I think having to get new gear would be a new challenge, which makes it more fun for both the old players and new ones, since they get a chance to become part of the 'good' players.

I disagree, besides, a lot of them already left. I actually think it would bring some of them back.

 

It should be reset only upon implementing random's update.

 

That would be nice, although probably not realistic, the update will likely take a long time.

This big update we have planned seems like a Wild West 2.0.

 

I never see Wild West full (except when there are events) so I don't really see the purpose of it.

 

Look at mc-war, the war players are alredy waiting for 3 years for mc-war 2. This might also take so long for wild west

tf is NET? And also +1 because the older players have been grinding for so long that they can never come down. What I would like to see for the reset is team limits maybe 3-4 players. Wild West wasn't meant for there to 15 millionaires in one team. With team limits, it could mean that there are a lot more bandit wars, competition, and acceptance. Right now everyone is so focused on one group of players. Those players are the ones that are lucky, WarZ players, or known brawl players. There is no space for new players, while some of the best players I have seen have been new. Some were only minestrike players and were better than Nafsu, but when they applied for Nike or CardX, and were denied because they were new, they quit and felt like they had no hope to get into the big teams. And to be honest, they don't really. 2 players that I know of now have gotten into monopoly teams because they LIED about being WarZ players. The monopoly teams didn't even know they existed in the background until they changed their name, got a monthly VIP (a lot of WarZ players have ranks), and then claimed they were a WarZ player. A reset with team limits added would make it so that the same players win everytime. People would be constantly searching for the better player to replace the older player because 3 - 4 older players V.S. newer and better players would result in the older players losing. We need a reset because the way to get to the top is corrupt.

There are three ways I have seen people get to the top:

Lying
Cheating/Hacking
Playing for an extremely long time (7+ months)

There is only one way that I've seen people get close to the top, but were put back down and quit.

And that's the long process of...

processing the small drugs. For a long time I processed tobacco and only tobacco. I would get about 12k a run and each run was around 1 and a half hours. I got 240k from that, the most I've ever had in wild west. That is about 20 runs. And what is 20 x 1 1/2... 30 hours. That is over a day of processing for that much. With my school schedule I got to process around 2 runs a week. That is 10 weeks! I then used all my money on diamond sets because wild west was becoming boring. It was my best and worst time of wild west. It was the best because it was just so many diamond fights that were all cool. I got to fight CardX and win with the money, but it drained the money out of me. After winning bad luck always followed. Whether it was getting cuffed, logging in to get cuffed, logging in the middle of nowhere to get spawn killed, logging out in a base to go to restroom and returning 30 seconds later to log on and getting spawn killed, 2v1'ing joker with his alts (only reason why he won), afk'ing in the middle of nowhere for 10 seconds and getting killed, killing a siheriff and having Joker sitting behind a tree the whole fight and popping out only to 2 shot me while I'm in my inventory.

Anyways, I came close to the top, and I made it to the top, because I played for an extremely long time. This is why we need a reset with team limits. I would play whenever I could. Right now I'm still trying to fix my minecraft. I can play on my bro's computer and at school (school, pathetic amirite), but it can get very laggy.

 

Not wild west 2.0 as in another server which is the same but is reset

 

I agree on reset only if we change the map because we would need to adapt to the new environment. But you're talking about formatting the Wild West, resulting in losing everything that players have gained (achievements, skills, money, heads, stats) and starting the same story from the beginning.

As stated, it won't provide any balancing. The same OP players before the reset will still be OP after the reset in no time. It might provide an illusion, where the new players believe they might become OP, gaining confidence, but it won't last long. In a week we'll be in the same situation we're currently in, though there'll be less OP players, as most of them will just quit.

Players who haven't started playing Wild West say they'll join if there's a reset, for the reason of equality, I guess. But this is a gamemode where you can just start playing in a convenient time, simply earn money and become one of us real soon - right now. There's no need for reset, these players asking for reset are just demanding an exchange of current players who'll just quit.
