    It feels like it has been years since War 2.0 was announced, because it has. I would like to talk a little bit about War 2.0, when or if it's coming out and what it could do for the community.

    Just for the record, this is not a hate thread and should not be seen as one. I am genuinely talking for what I believe to be in best interest of Brawl throughout this thread. To be honest I just really want to see it come out. I know all Staff Members have seen this thread been done many times.

    Ok, so first off I'm going to talk about War 2.0. Since it's been announced there have been a couple of different stages that the War community has been through. Let's divide it up into Past, Present and Future.

    Past : I joined the server nearly three years ago, and I was introduced to it by a friend, @Fista_Cupz. War 2.0 was announced around three years ago too, and as War was one of the most popular gamemodes the hype in the community really was unreal. We couldn't wait.

    Present : at this point we're really just hoping. We've seen some beta testing on the server which gave us that hope. We really all want to see a bright future for Brawl and we need to keep our heads high. We've lost a lot of players and even though we're slowly gaining them back I believe that this is the boost to give War its full potential.

    Future : We all want to see a bright future for War.

    Please Brawl, we know it can happen. 2.0 could happen and you know the community wants it more than anything. I love War so so much.

    I want to thank everybody who's working on War 2.0 for everything, because I understand it's hard work. I just really want it to happen. I respect you all.

    They are working on it hopefully. I'm sure threads like this stress them out a lot. And if you know that staff has seen similar threads like this, why make a new one??

    Well to be honest I think It's almost finished now, I'm basing that off that there are no more beta tests, and what I heard from some people that have been on it recently. Just be patient, and it will come.

    How long should I wait before I get bored is the question?

    I understand they've seen similar threads but if they've seen so many threads wouldn't that encourage them to go quicker? Three years is a long time.

    As lots of you have already seen from the testing sessions, 2.0 is basiclly done but there are a few things holding it back at the moment.

    Have you seen the amount of threads about this?
    Thats completely fine but I would love to hear more about what's happening with it and it's progress. A while ago I felt like the community was given more insight. Thanks.

    Why do I have the feeling that you guys are just holding back the gamemode so you can release it together with a completely new server?

    To prevent any crazy ideas: You're feeling is wrong. As Rock said above, there are some circumstances which hold the release back at the moment. You guys can imagine that we want a fast release as well, especially the War staff team (obviously).

    I think it's a good idea to let them work at their wanted speed. Rushing it won't help, it will most likely play out better if we just let them work it out. Yeah it's been a long time but do you really want a rushed and unfinished gamemode or do you want the finished product? :wink:

    I hope the developers can get that done quickly as I wish it would be a major success and worth a 3 year wait quality for work. I hope war 2.0 will bring back the old players and bring more people. Once 2.0 comes out then maybe another few years till 3.0 xD? Anyways do you have any estimated date to be completed like June or sometime during the summer before school start s in September?

    Sorry for the late reply but I believe that chickenputtys priority is to finish school without failing his classes, so I think this means more work will get done faster in the summer.

    Yeah, I can understand that. School is probably a higher priority for everyone so yiur probably correct. I'm just expecting some good stuff so I can forgive the wait time for the update.

    2.0 will be in a new server...it will be like starting from zero.

    Look at old threads, there has been talk about 2.0 for years...
