Staff Abuse and Second Chances

I agree with this thread, however I don't agree with Ritzy's promotion. I think his promotion was premature, in that he didn't stay long after he was demoted, and all he had to do was take a hiatus and then boom, his trust was back. On the other hand, Pyrotheum tried constantly to seek forgiveness (as far as I have seen), and I believe that this shows he is trustworthy.

 

It's been 9 months and people still think I got demoted for abusing. I give up.

 

As far as I know, Ritzy and Turmac were demoted for teaming with alting players - not abusing.

EDIT: Nevermind ritzy is too fast (speedy gonzales intensifies)

 

If I'm honest I think that everyone deserves a second chance after a certain period, so Pyro should receive one as well. But because it's become such a widespread known thing that Pyro was demoted for abusing, lots still hold a grudge when they really shouldn't.

I really appreciate you making this thread, but I'm affraid it wont help for me, I think I'll just continue with building stuff for Brawl, like the new parts of the WarZ map, and hope the admins will eventually trust me again.

 

Personally, I don't think its fair to drag @ritzy into this. The two situations are not comparable, as Ritzy was demoted for a different reason as many others have said. However, despite my disagreement between the comparability of the two situations, I believe @Pyrotheum should be given another chance, under strict conditions.

 

Turmac was demoted for abusing.

He killed a friend on WarZ as a joke and force tp'ed him back iirc.

 

The situation in which @Pyrotheum has sadly gone into for a couple of months now makes me think about one thing:

Let me think of @Striker_Sly, who was demoted because, as far as I know and according to what he told back then, he hacked on another server and this was reported to Brawl (back in 2015).
Nonetheless, this didn't really impact Brawl directly although it is stated in the Junior Moderator Handbook that we must represent it off-duty, meaning that we have to act as if we were staff on the server we're playing on (mature, respectful etc.). The thing is now, even if he was demoted, do you think he would be accepted if he applied?
Now what Pyrotheum did is that he abused his builder rank to make more money on WildWest (I barely heard about that I assume). However, this was a long time ago and I think a trust can be forged again as it used to be. It is clear that @Pyrotheum truly regrets his acts and I do think he won't think at any time of abiding, owing to his rank, to a rule rank and bypassing the "system".

 

Who cares what Roke thinks, it's only what Cuddled and Putty says that matters

Yeah I stated so in my resignation/outro, I was demoted for abusing, but /shrug

 

Unfortunately, I disagree. I find Pyro quite rude and immature at times. (In-Game I might add) But there is a good side however that I have seen.

 

Personally I would want to give Pyro a trial period with strictly limited information about certain projects and we could see how he acts and works with that. If he does well we can allow him access to more information gradually over his time as a trial builder. Once he seems to have proven he is loyal again and won't do anything reckless we could give him a full builder rank.
I'm all up for giving Pyro another chance so I'm trying to reach a compromise with both him and the admins. But if Roke, Putty, ect still don't trust Pyro and don't want him on the team then there's nothing we can really do about it.
