    I don't know if it's just me that's noticed that minecraft is slowly but surely getting a smaller playerbase. But I would like to know a few reasons why people would just suddenly stop playing without a reason. Since some of my friends did it and I didn't understand why they suddenly wanted to dissapear from this community. So for all of you who have already quit/taken a break before could you either pm me or let me know why you quit/took a break and for what reasons? Thanks in advance.

    Just like every game, minecraft had its peak moments but is now starting to fade away. I think mojang has also caused some problems with the eula enforcing causing a lot of problems for smaller servers such as Brawl for an example

    I think a lot of players stop playing Minecraft because of school. I personally stopped playing mc about 2 years ago and came back about half a year ago.
    I think people just try to focus on school and for that reason stop playing.
    The EULA plays a big part to of course.

    Yeah I guess school is one of the main reasons since I would also rather put my time into something usefull ratherthan a game.

    Minecraft indeed had its peak moments but it stayed at a normal playerbase for a while now ur starting to actually see the difference by quite a lot.

    imo ur all overthinking lol its a game and people simply do other things and they play when they feel like it or have time. the game wont die in a very long time. if you feel less people are playing its the server not the whole entire game lmao

    Not really, pretty much all servers have been getting a lot less players the last year or so. Pretty much all of the big servers are having problems with this.

    I think another issue is the communities on many PvP-type servers are...sh*t, to say the least.
    Best example: Any PotHCF server
