    Okay, this might seem like a rant but I'm trying to reach out to the staff out there on what some of my friends and I agree on.

    Part 1:

    Brawl is a place where people come to play War, Build, Capture the Flag, and a few other games. Though, my friends and I feel as if Brawl is focusing more on player punishment than on working with the community on what they need to see done. I'm trying not to rant here, but /chatreport is sometimes abused by players. Lets say if someone says something not too bad in chat, and someone chatreports them, they get muted for like lets say 10 minutes for something very minor. I think the rules here are too strict if you're gonna allow profanity but punish people for joking around. Sometimes I joke around with my friends and I get punished for it. I really think you guys should focus on letting loose on the rules and only take action when things are getting a little

    Part 2:
    You know how you if you get 40 mutes you get a permanent ban? Well considering how easy it is to get a mute, if you aren't gonna let loose on muting people for every single little thing they do, at least change this rule a little bit. I'm suggesting for maybe every 20 mutes you could get a long mute. For example, FATBOI997 gets 20 mutes for harassment, after the 20th mute, he gets a week mute warning him to stop. After the next 20 mutes, he could get a month mute, then after the next 10 mutes, he could get a permanent mute. This could tie in with bans too. Lets say if someone gets around 10-15 bans they could get a permanent ban. I really want staff to become less strict and more chill with things. I got warned for asking a kid if he played basketball, I mean come on.

    It won't be easy to get a mute if you're not an idiot. I'm sorry that was blunt, but it's true. Plus, most staffers won't mute if it was only one offense in the whole log, unless it was a severe offense like a death wish.

    That was a billion months ago, but it is pretty annoying to get muted because some uncontrolled 7 year old chatreported you for making a joke to a friend

    yes it was almost 12 months ago but staff mute protocol really hasn't changed that much... why let the same thing happen to some other unfortunate individual? now lets stop arguing over this before the thread is locked for flame :stuck_out_tongue:

    Just follow the rules. If you want to insult your friends then limit it to a pm, no one wants to read your toxicity.

    How does someone abuses of ./chatreport? It's not an instant mute, a mod+ reads the chat history then takes a decision. And inappropriate jokes are not allowed. Pms exist for a reason.

    how is insulting and joking around fun if your other friends cant see it and laugh too

    and if innapropriate jokes arent allowed then why let us say the names of genitals / sexual acts etc

    If the PM recipient doesn't like what they're seeing, then they can /chatreport it. Yeah, PMs are visible in chat reports.

    Mutes wouldn't really affect you if you had a basic understanding, and logical sense of what is right to say and what isn't. Though, I do agree with this
    being ridiculous, not every staff member is strict. I am somewhat strict on Kit, but that's mainly to keep everyone calm and arguing every single minute. You just have to have someway of detecting what is right from wrong.

    We should allow this, and also we should make it so /chatreport only makes us have warnings instead of mutes like the staff now do to compliment it. I fricken love this idea, I think I know why these topics are being made now.

    I got chat reported when a staff got a warning it got accepted gj staff team as well. They should also fix that on my mute history RIGHT NOW

    Yeah staff get outta here this is for the people of brawl not the cops

    I don't think that Brawl's staff is strict. They are just doing their job. Real life is more strict than a Minecraft game, if someone did something against the rules and didn't get punished for it then it teaches them to keep doing it. They get warning yet they keep doing it so it's fair they get a punishment for their actions. Idk just my opinion.
