Idea for War!

    Hey my beautiful memers, how're you today? My names Brazee and I have a suggestion that I think could possibly help MC-War. So yeah!

    Finding out how to buy grenades etc. can be hard for new players, because they don't know the command. Maybe there could be a villager in the lobby where players spawn that when right clicked would show a table with grenades etc. When clicked it would take credits out of your account and give you the grenade for the next game.

    Also, maybe the villager skin could be added as a soldier skin on the War texture pack, so that you would be right clicking on a soldier skin :smile:.

    Tell me how ya feel, and tell me if you feel it's really necessary considering we have the command. I just thought it could add a nice touch.

    Yes!

    There is no harm in this idea :stuck_out_tongue: It would make it easier no doubt. However don't you need a developer? If so we don't have one at the moment so we might have to wait for a developer to put it in :/

    This is just an idea, remember. It doesn't have to be implemented soon, or even in the near future.

    Sounds pretty good. I don't know when a developer will get around to it. But, this would make questions less frequent in the chat and easier for beginners. #Soon

    Well I really like the idea but considering the damn tutorial book didn't get an update in like 2? years I am guessing that ain't happening.

    This would be extremly easy to code. As a mod on a small mine craft server averaging 5 people a day (back in the day) I could code this it would be that easy (that's saying something). But like @Fista_Cupz said, we don't have a dev. Cool idea though and I'd like to see it implemented.

    I don't know this would fit in very well with the "killing eachother" theme on war. Like a random villager in spawn would look pretty out of place in my opinion.

    Though some rule signs would'nt hurt. Maybe add some in the right bunker that isn't used for anything.

    It's helping newbies :stuck_out_tongue: And maybe multiple villagers in the corners of spawn would be better?

    As for the theme, I don't understand at all how that's relevant. I suggested to put a soldier skin on the villager to make it fit into the War theme.

    Too put a "soilder armor" on a villager requeries a coder i think for the custom textures.

    Well, for this I have mixed feelings.
    The ones helping and teaching players are supposed to be the Staff.

    But, sometimes there is not enough staff on to help out.

    I mean, this is a simple idea that a Known Moderator can handle.
    You really don't need a developer for this.

    All you need is a soldier skin to be put in instead of the villager skin on the War texture pack.

    I would love to see this! Myself i couldn't find out how till a mod told me :V
    This would be extremely easy to code as well.
    Hopefully we'll be seeing it in War 2.0 :grinning:

    After hearing your idea, I went ahead and coded something that might help: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/command-mobs.42928/

    It's a plugin where you can create a mob (the villager) and let it execute a command for that player (We just need a command that give the player information about it).
    Best I could and it's free to use if anyone wants it. (I just enjoy coding)
