For those who think Brawl is dead

Hey Brawl community,
Wizzlol707 here. I've about had it with people hating on Brawl. Sure, there are less players than in 2015, sure sometimes the mods make a mistake, sure we have our 'toxic' players who you wish left you alone. Doesn't that make us like all other servers? So the fact that there aren't many players makes Brawl 'dead'? I don't think so. Take the War/WarZ community for example. There are plenty of people still doing it! Sure, maybe not MANY people play it, but the people who DO play it usually enjoy it. And stay 5-7 years. And Capture the Flag? There are 11 whole teams of 20-25 people on them! That means that people here are loyal to Brawl! You shouldn't just assume Brawl is dead because we have people leaving and there are less players than there used to be. The server's not dead. Sure, it can use some fixes here and there, that's true. But people saying 'Brawl is dead' and 'stupid server', I'll bet 75% of the people who say that haven't done much or anything to contribute to this server.

And about the staff, I don't get why people hate on them. Guys like Roke may seem harsh sometimes, they're just doing their jobs! The mods are trying to improve the gamemodes, so stop saying stuff like 'the mods are lazy' or 'the staff needs to do a better job'. They're working their butts off to improve the gamemodes you seem to enjoy!

Anyways, I just gave my word of opinion. I hope haters will sort of understand what Brawl has to deal with here. I'll admit, we may kind of be in a crisis, with games closing and Developers (*cough cough NOM*) leaving. But that doesn't mean the server is dead, as there are plenty of players here who would stay until the day that Brawl WOULD die, which it isn't. As I said, the community is small, but the 'normies' IN it almost always stay loyal to this server.

Yes it's dropped, but the community is still going strong. That's what matters in my eyes.

This may be true, but we have guys here (like you) who have been loyal and stay loyal. Guys like @Gehenna_Beam sorta quit, and HE'S still loyal to Brawl.

Same here, there's always some randy complaining that Brawl is dead. Sometimes I'll go to their profile page, and find out that they only have like 5 or 6 messages, half of which saying that Brawl is dead. That makes me go like: 'wow, let's rate this as 'useful' shall we?'

But they don't have very many original games. They have games like Skywars and Spleef, something most servers have. Raid and Ctf and WarZ are games on Brawl you don't see many other places. And the playercount doesn't always say how 'alive' a server is. It's how loyal the players are to the server, in my eyes. But you may have a different opinion of course, this is just my opinion

 

I gave you a tag because you're one of the loyal HG players. You are one of the people who try to keep the game going.

same thing with CTF and WarZ here, right? We also have our original gamemodes.
