Idea Players jumping off the end as a getaway

    Players that are losing in a pvp battle often run to the end and jump off so that they can /spawn or warp away and not die. The only alternative is jumping after them, and if you are winning the fight you don't wanna give up your gear, you wanna get your opponents. I think a border or something should be placed around the end, or make it to where you cannott warp ANYWHERE in the end for at least 10 seconds, no matter if anyone is around you or not. It lets players choose the easy way out and takes a kill away from whoever is winning the fight.

    no. It's very easy to avoid having people run to end and I don't think that we need any changes.

    +1 it is already so easy to kite at spawn with the help of the sponges. End-kiting is cancer

    Yeah, the spawn(s) needs to be changed :/ It's almost impossible to catch a good kiter in spawn, when there are sponges and portals.
    I still think that you should not be able to use sponges inside of spawn without spawn protection. (Within 512 of spawn)

    I personally like sponges, it adds more to fights and I personally dont like the idea of it being completely in favor of a chaser.

    Speedcell has brought up the thread to Putty and we have proposed some ways to potentially fix players using the end as a means of an easy escape. We'll keep you updated.

    Yesterday, I was in the end while HighkeySalty or CriticalBennie was killing the enderdragon (can't remember which) I hit him off of the end while he was in p4 but all he had to do was warp and didn't die. This basically means pvping in the end is useless because if you are low and might die you can just warp out.

    I'm sure Oracle had his reasons for keeping it in then, he probably wanted to test how it went or rather simply didn't think it was as big a deal back then. Nonetheless, we've brought it up to Putty and hopefully he's trying to implement the ideas we've suggested.

    Remember my views on knb2 and punch2 for koths? people have been complaining about them too... maybe we should watch more people give up on koths before anything gets changed... -_-

    Fairly sure it's gone now. You have to wait 10 seconds to warp now where ever you are in the end. Latest update.
