Okay... so HG with guns... that's totally okay, but heaven forbid you ever have a game with any 1.9+ features whatsoever.

What do you mean by 1.9+ features? Our servers run 1.8 in order to allow players on 1.8 to connect, thus we can't use any 1.9+ specific features (like a new mob, block, etc).

Hmm, I'm a little turned off by the guns. Never been a big fan of those in Minecraft but that may just be me being all retro or what ever. Oh well, I'll give it some game time who knows. Good job with a new game mode though I have to give you that, I did'nt expect this what so ever!

 

Liking the game-mode so far, cant wait to see upcoming updates!

At first glance, this seems like fpshg with cars.
If I could actually get minecraft to start on my laptop without crashing, I'd give it a try

 

The problem isn't that it won't run well, but that every time I try to even run the game, it crashes before it gets a chance to open the window.

 

So I love it! I think it goes well with other brawl game modes. One thing that could use some attention is the parkour, some of the players love to drive cars up there and block it. Then they ram into players and knock them off.

Right, but this is my point - 1.8 pvp is much more popular than guns, but they still release a gun game. So then why not a 1.9+ game and appeal to all audiences? Besides the fact, the current version of MC (1.12) is by far the most played-on version, but by popularity I suppose you mean "popularity among avid pvp'ers/people currently on the server". I'm just saying, if you want new faces on the server, a 1.9+ game would be great for that.

I'm aware that you are a 1.8 server that allows 1.9+ connections just for ease of access. By 1.9+ features, I obviously meant pvp-related features (since this is a pvp server). I'm also aware that most people currently on the server and probably all the devs prefer 1.8 pvp to 1.9+. But as I said above, if you want a greater audience to join the server, you could just add a game that appeals to all the people who don't want to play 1.8 anymore, or make a 1.12 version of an existing game if that'd be easier. It would be a version-restricted game of course (only 1.12 could connect), but then again, many servers are willing to have a 1.7/1.8-only game, so I don't see why you can't go the other way.

 

Like SoCool21 said, 1.8 is the only and best version of MC for Brawl. (Most popular)

 

I seriously doubt this but is it possible to get the download for this map? It would be a great help in game to know where the nearest buildings are.
