Invalid book data???

    Um, so I tried writing something in a book and when I click "Sign" and stuff I get kicked from the server and it says I was kicked for "Invalid book data"

    This never used to happen.

    So, uh... Help???

    I'm using 1.11.2 if that helps.

    This hasn't happened to me, but if restarting Minecraft hasn't fixed it, then try a different Minecraft version.

    Oh, wow. I guess it just doesn't work on 1.11.2.... Thinking about it now, I probably should have tried to change the version before making a big deal about it on the forum :^) oh well. THANK YOU CHARLIE.

    I just tried signing a book again and it didn't work. In 1.12. Maybe I'm typing something weird that it doesn't like. THIS IS VERY VERY ODD.

    In 1.8.9 I was able to sign a 20 page book about 3 days ago.
    Edit: I just tested and was able to sign on 1.8.9, if you can not sign, then I could sign it for you.

    I think maybe I put in a symbol that it didn't accept. I did make this face ":^)" maybe the carat symbol is bad idk. I also skipped a bunch of pages. IDK whatever.

    That face should not be illegal, nor should skipped pages.

    I tested this in 1.12 and I think it is because you are skipping pages.
    When I skip pages it kicks me for "invalid book data."

    Not me.

    Try a 1.8 version.
