Uh, I personally think that you do not need a g sync panel to combo in MINECRAFT. Yes, I misspoke. You may be able to SEE more frames per second, but it most likely will not affect you playing style very much considering we are playing, yes, MINECRAFT. Not to mention it will take a lot more than a "toaster" to run those kind of frames unless you choose to play at lower settings which seems pretty useless to me.

    yes it will lol

if he has a large budget there is literally no point in anything less than a 1440p 144hz gsync monitor especially considering he will stop playing minecraft sometime in the future

Moderators should not spread misinformation among the forums. 144hz is a very noticeable jump from 60hz.

ive used a membrane keyboard for years...i dont see the huge fuss over mechanical keyboards, i personally dont think theyre worth the money. but a lot of people disagree and thats okay, but as long as i physically like the feeling of the keyboard im fine with it...any corsair keyboard is usually a safe bet though.

get a 144hz monitor if you can. even the cursors movement in desktop is sooooo f ucking smoooth
maybe 120hz if you don't want to spend the extra money for 144hz.

id say any benq 120hz+ monitor (benq is better than asus) and a corsair mech. keyboard

Why not? I use one paired with my custom computer and I watch tv on it.

Think about it, more flexibility and utility....like a Ferrari with a Minigun attached to the front. Lol!

If you pay for Razer products you're paying for the name and logo. They're all trash.

Buy Corsair keyboards and ASUS monitors.

Alright clearly I'm getting flamed about what I said about monitors so I will talk about keyboards:

Not all mechanical keyboards are loud. As you probably know, the switches in mechanical keyboards are levers under the key caps that click when you push down the keys. Membrane keyboards, while less expensive, force you to complete a circuit going through the keyboard by pushing a sheet of silicon to the two metal wires under the keys which is inefeccient and makes a lot of noise when you jam the key all the way down.

For mechanical, there are different types of switches. Different color switches indicate how much weight you need to push down the key to get the switch to click, how loud the click is, and how far you need to push the key down. Here is a guide to some of the switches. If you want a quiet, quality keyboard, I would recommend buying a corsair (best keyboards to my knowledge) with either cherry mx brown, red, or speed switches. Then your budget will pick the model.
Note: despite what others are saying, do NOT buy a razer keyboard because they are literally made entirely of plastic while corsair uses aluminum frames. They feel a lot more solid and will last longer.

as long as youre not throwing your keyboard down the stairs everytime you die, you wont notice a difference in the lifespan between metal and plastic keyboards.

razed synapse used to suck, its gotten a lot better though in the past few years

    240hz costs a fortune

Yeah, blue is the best because the response time on it by weight is the least i think, but blue its loud as hell

I also forgot to mention Logitech. The new keyboards that they sell now have these switches called g romer or something like that. From personal experience and others' opinions, these switches and keys caps require a very acquired taste with their new shape and design. Personally I would go to a store and test out all of the options that you are considering before you buy.

There is a VERY significant difference between plastic and metal frames/parts that will be VERY noticeable side by side. Many people will also agree that all razer keyboards have a very plastic and flimsy feel, and the overall build quality is by far lesser than those of say a k70 lux rgb.

It is a personal opinion kind of thing, but blue brown and red all have 45g weight and are all 2mm
