New Tab / Command Idea

+1 especially at the /stafflist. I hate hoing through all the servers looking for a higher staff. Incase I nedd something.

 

The first idea is ok, but I like the second one. The one problem with the first idea is, if you can already see all the staff in 'tab' even when they're not in that gamemode/lobby, that would ruin the whole point of /stafflist. I'd +0 that idea for now.

But I +1 the /stafflist idea, because I have the same problem too sometimes. There'll be some time where I'm on ctf and there's this flame war going on. There's no Mod or something, and BrawlBot doesn't mute players. So it'd be nice to know if there is some Build or War(Z) staff online to warn/mute the people who are swearing or hacking or cheating. Nice thinking! I +0 the tab thing, but your stafflist is getting my +1

Hopfully at least one of these idea's gets added ^^

 

-1 for /Stafflist. Players would highly abuse it especially in Gamemodes like WarZ to check if Staff members were on.
They already majorly abused /mag [Tab complete] to check if a Staff member was online and in Vanish just to then stop hacking till the Staff members left.

So what if every Staff member toggles it off? Wouldn't it be quite pointless then?

 

Maybe we can have something in which the 'vanished' mods don't show up in the list? So it looks like they're gone?

Actually, there have been times in which I have done /support to which no one reacted. And I have sort of proof that there was staff online at those moments. I don't know if they were busy, or my /support just got ignored.

you have to send a rude support message with a couple swear words a staff will msg you "Stop saying that" then you go to that server and tell them.

 

Then that's the staff's problem. If everyone is toggled off and no one is willing to help, then there will be no support to the people who are having problems with hackers and bullies. The people will continue to hack, cheat, and abuse the gamemode. And the mods will then be called lazy, and I don't really think you guys want 'lazy' as a reputation, because you mods aren't.

Well, then staff should STOP ignoring them. I know that staff is busy, but if the support is seriously needed, then they should be there to help.

We usually don't ignore /support. If a staff member is available who can deal with the situation, he/she will react. But if i.e. an "im stucked"-request is coming in, JMods cannot do anything and Mods do often deal with hackers. So, to make it short: If noone reacts, noone is available. Wait a minute and try it again. No need to hop through the servers, to spam, to use swear words or to add /stafflist for ordinary players :/

 

I know, and I know you guys do your best. I'm glad that you guys are there to help out and stuff, but there have been a reasonable amount of times in which I knew that there was staff online, but got no reply. Even though my /support messages were quite serious.

This could totally get abused, yes. There's always some people who go and ruin it for everyone else :/

I do agree it would be a nice thing to know if there was staff online, like on the forums. But, it's a fact that this too would get abused.
