    So, a while ago, I noticed that there was a poll asking if they should add back the changing spawners thing and I like the idea, but I think it needs some changes.

    Ranks
    I think only ranked players should be able to change spawners.
    "Why?" you may not ask, well that is because ranks still are overpriced and we don't get much for the amount of money we spent.

    So maybe only VIP+ could change spawners or MVP+. I personally don't think that it should be ELITE+ but you can voice your opinion in the poll above. The reason why I don't want it to be ELITE+ is because all ranks are overpriced, not only ELITE, however I think ELITE should have to spend less XP on changing spawners.

    Now to the amount of XP that it will cost to change spawners.
    • Moosh: 60 levels (55 for ELITE)
    • Pigmen: 80 levels (70 for ELITE)
    • Villager: 50 levels (45 for ELITE)
    • Creeper: 60 levels (55 for ELITE)
    • Ghast: 45 levels (40 for ELITE)
    • Slime: 50 levels (45 for ELITE)
    • Magma Cube: 55 levels (50 for ELITE)
    • Cow: 15 levels (12 for ELITE)
    • Blaze: 45 levels (40 for ELITE)
    • Witch: 30 levels (25 for ELITE)
    • Skeleton: 25 levels (20 for ELITE)
    • Horse: 10 levels (8 for ELITE)
    • Spider: 15 levels (12 for ELITE)
    • Cave Spider: 10 levels (8 for ELITE)
    • Zombie: 20 levels (17 for ELITE)
    • Rabbit: 15 levels (12 for ELITE)
    • Enderman: 20 levels (17 for ELITE)
    • Sheep: 10 levels (8 for ELITE)
    • Ocelot: 2 levels (1 for ELITE)
    • Chicken: 15 levels (12 for ELITE)
    • Wolf: 10 levels (7 for ELITE)
    • Pig: 5 levels (2 for ELITE)
    • Guardian: 5 levels (2 for ELITE)
    • Squid: 5 levels (2 for ELITE)
    • Bat: 1 level (FREE for ELITE)
    • Silverfish: 1 level (FREE for ELITE)
    • Endermite: 1 level (FREE for ELITE)

    I don't, please stop accusing me of stuff, and if this is against the EULA, then how is more warps not?

    If you didn't have a rank, you wouldn't suggest stuff that benefits ranks only. Don't even say you would.

    Some say more warps break the EULA, but everyone has access to some warps. Additional warps don't directly give someone an advantage - theoretically. Everyone should have the ability to change spawners imo.

    Well, then make ranks cost less, 50$ for VIP is just ridiculous.

    Please respond with additional thoughts or ideas to the thread idea btw. Don't just bump to bump it. I'm not a tryhard tho so I won't lock it. On topic, we've been discussing about the spawner and mob eggs thing. I think we've come up with something to make it balanced. We'll just have to see how things go.

    I personally dislike the idea, It takes the vanilla minecraft feel away from Raid, and the idea as it is makes it pay to win which is unfair to non-donors. -1

    And if you could change them (costing levels to change), and there was no benefit for ranks, how would you feel then?

    I question the idea of implementing mob spawners for everything just to make the server simpler.

    It's against the EULA to give buyers an advantage over others (Fewer levels required). Plus, pigman/ghast/enderman/magma cubes/mushroom cow/villagers spawners would definitely break the economy. Mushroom cows would be almost worthless, the richest player would have a larger monopoly, villager spawners sound as crazy as they look like - p4's value would be significantly decreased.

    Imo it should be possible but just for the following mobs:
    Cow,Blaze,Skelleton, Cave/spider,Zombie,rabbit, sheep,chicken,pig

    I am aware that this probably would make food pretty much worthless, however food is already now worthless(0.01-0.02 gold )

    Mooshroom cow eggs are valuable because of the high number of levels you need to capture them. If you have a mooshroom spawner, chances are you've found an island to get the egg and make the spawner, so you know the coords/have a warp, so if you want another, you could simply travel back. Having a mooshroom spawner isn't going to help much at all.

    Villager spawners on the other hand are very OP - Had a few of them when changing spawners was possible, very useful.

    Well to be honest Eil, I like the idea, But as a Raid/SPvP veteran I feel like it takes the vanilla Minecraft feel away from Raid. I also feel like players would get richer even quicker than they do now therefore taking the fun away. (In my opinion, It is already bad enough that people can acquire Prot4 unb3 in less than 7 days like I did, This idea will just make players richer taking the fun away from actually earning the loot fairly in the long run.)

    I know how you feel, but changes is crucial for a gamemode to survive. If a gamemode doesn't change, it's gonna lose many players who get bored while gaining very few.

    Anyway, back to the topic, what if we made it extremely expensive to change a spawner? Maybe a special egg that is only attainable through competitions (eg koth)/some other extremely rare means?

    I get p4 after like 1 day in vanilla minecraft.

    Villager Spawners would be very good so i suggest to make so that you only can get them from Koth.
