    OK so you know when you have played your share of other servers and you decide, "lets play some war".

    So you go to the multiplayer list and see that is countdown gungame l: Well that's when I say I'll play later. And I was just thinking you know why is war fun Sunday a weekly thing? Why can't staff members maybe give players a choice of choosing for reasons such as winning gungame or FFA?

    Now I know that some staff members do this, but can this become a common thing? It makes that round a bit more intense. Also can we just get a few random " Any maps?" From a staff member? It would just be nice to have a choice maybe every few times an hour to be able to choose a map of any type.

    I just think this would be nice, just to tie us over till war 2.0

    First of all, we aren't supposed to do /fp except if it's during an event. (It's just been a rule and we follow it :V) Gungame and FFA can be boring, but most new players love those 2 gamemodes. As a new player, I personally liked those 2 the best. Giving people the option of choosing the next map and gamemode would be unfair for new players, considering they don't have the best guns and can't win as often as better players.

    Just to keep your hopes up though - War 2.0 has a Map Voting system :wink:

    Yeah I just thought maybe it could be a few times a week like War Wednesday
    or Map Monday, you know? Just because not only me but there could be a case where a few people are busy when its on.

    And usually on war fun Sunday I have seen the player count rise to above 40 which makes gamemodes better and more fun to play

    I don't think a proper solution other than a map voting system will work (possibly) for all the players on at that specific time. Yes, War Fun Sundays is cool but rarely on War Fun are the newer players voices heard.

    i don't know who got it in your head that we staff members should change the map all the time, but they are clearly not doing a very good job

    ? I didn't say "all the time" I said maybe have an hourly event a few times a week rather than once

    We're only allowed to use /fp during events or for bug/OOM testing, sorry. Since it's such an old gamemode, we have maps that were made in as far back as 2012, when the quality of maps were much lower. That'll chance in War 2.0. Also, as @DarkTitan_ said, we'll be adding a voting system, so you'll hopefully be able to skip maps you don't like, if others dislike them too.

    Gungame and FFA are the best gamemodes though. :v

    We are allowed to do it when there are like 3 or 4 ffas or gungames in a row. I always let the winner of the ffa/gungame choose.

    It would be nice if other war staff did this ^^^
    Don't do it too often though, and announce it before the ffa/gun starts.
