Admin isn't a rank you can apply for. Admins are the people who made this. Helper applications are on the 'to do list'.

Sheriffs and Staff shouldn't spend their time trying to make Wildwest something it isn't. Meepism already knows how I feel so its not going to be constructive to go into all of it, but I am worried to see Sheriffs spectating or setting up fights where illegals will be used, and worried about Mods TPing people to the fights instead of people riding their horse. Wildwest isn't a kit brawl server with standings, it is an open world rpg.

Something like this would be better suited to War, or Battle Royale, where each game your items are reset, and you are placed within fighting range of an enemy. Even CTF would fit this idea better than Wildwest.

 

They are reset. You get to come back and keep your stuff and all sheriff heads are burned.

These are just friendly duels with people where people get to fight for fun. I don't see why this is such a big thing for you to object to. We TP people back so it makes the process faster.

again, Meepism knows my arguments, but I wanted to register my opinion on the forums as well.

Free access to top tier gear, free TPs, this is not an accurate representation of the gamemode. It's not healthy to promote a Sheriff watching two freshly Tp'd people duke it out with sawed-offs at Factory. Anyone who comes for that, they won't stay for the Real gameplay, and why would they?

Make events representative of actual Wildwest gameplay.

 

But that is the problem with WW. The gameplay is not exciting enough. Afking at Wildgrass for 2 hours was fine when people contested you every 10 minutes, but now, you can sit there and sometimes be left completely alone. We are trying to make the gameplay more exciting by introducing these 1v1s. To bring fights to the game mode. Whether you agree with this is your opinion.

 

If you really believe that, do you think that these events will cultivate a long term population for the server? I think that they will cause the people who DO play to log off even more frequently, only playing this server when its time to get a free fight.

It may not being new players in, but it might keep old players from staying. A lot of players leave if there are no fights happening, since that is the interesting part of WW. By creating these scheduled dights, people don't need to look for fights, they can show up to fight.

My last response to this. I don't want to continue this anymore.

 

It will only keep them online for the duration of the event. And we don't need to keep old players on, we need to keep new players coming in and staying.

And keeping the experienced players away from the bases and fields will let others have a chance to obtain money so they don't as fast. Plus if we don't care about old players leaving why are you making such a big deal about them only coming in for the event.
