Your body should stay there longer

    Hope you like this

    If you die your body stay there but not long enough

    Your body should stay there at least so you can get it in a 1000 blocks away other wise it desponds with your stuff in it or if someone has all ready tooken your stuff.

    Idk if this is posible cuz of lag. But I think that the body's are fine right now. -1.

    Yeah the timer was lowered to prevent the massive lags which Wild West experienced. Although this would be nice, I don't think it's possible.

    It's very possible, but would require coding to make dying spawn a chest with your items inside. The chests can last for several minutes with no lag.

    That's how a lot of servers do it. You need to make sure it's implemented correctly though, or it could cause glitches or abuse.

    I personally, and I know a lot of others enjoy the body aspect of Wild West as it feels a little more real than just a chest, but I can see where you're coming from. There is solutions but I don't feel like it's a massive issue. You do have a solid amount of time to grab loot from the deceased.

    yeah, for the people you kill its plenty of time. The thread is about when you die. On a speed horse you can get about 2800 blocks to your body before it despawns. I think it encourages people to go to far locations with a teammate so no issue there

    I agree i have lost to many sets to it despawning.

    I think its to prevent players from getting their items. You die, its gone kinda thing.

    Unless if Wild West is made weirdly, a few extra bodies really shouldn't cause much lag.
