    I think this game is cool and all... but Battle Royale? There are other games on the internet called "Battle Royale" and it's a *example game* version of clash royale. I think it should be something else like "HG with guns" or "Purge."

    It's completely fine. It is loads of people fighting and one comes out on top. Also known as a 'Battle Royale'.

    The same name is used for a special PPV show on WWE once called Battle Royale (now called Royal Rumble) and the concept is quite similar:
    The "game" show once started with all of the wrestlers on the ring (now each one of them joins after a specific time). Each try to eliminate the others out; the last man in the ring wins.

    Both share this basic gameplay concept.

    Battle Royale is not only a general term, but also the name of a movie which seems to have inspired other movies/video games like the Hunger Games, PUBG, .etc. I don't really see why it's a bad name :stuck_out_tongue:

    I think Battle Royale is just fine, it sounds good and people can relate the name with something since there's a movie and other games that's similar.
    I googled exactly that and Brawl was number 6 :stuck_out_tongue:

    But would you search "minecraft" then, by chance, one of our gamemode names? Unless we had a gamemode like "survival games" or "skywars", no-one would google our gamemode names and, if they did, more popular servers would come up instead.
