I mean getting a narrow, xraying to find the base, digging around a lil bit, then mining into the base must be awful hard work for you

 

That's a hefty accusation. Got any evidence? Or are you just salty about us raiding 6 of your trackers after you bragged so much about raiding my afk?

Anyways, doing that would lead to a ban because you'd eventually raid the wrong thing. Also, it's not that easy to get a bank narrow

lol if you don't know who's base your raiding then you can easily be banned. If you somewhat narrow then xray for it then you might raid the wrong thing and can easily be banned.

I think that Brawl should store tracking logs for every player, but this is straying from the thread topic.

 

cowcat was obvious. When I was active I'd always make fake underground vaults within render distance of my bases and he hit everyone of them while I was on. *dug straight to them

 

Back on topic please, this is about mini-maps, not about whether certain players xray or not.

I raided a skybase a few days ago, it was an ugly monstrosity that I happened to see because it was made out of ice and stuck out like a sore thumb.

Here's my take:

Skybases made of solid blocks cast shadows, I've found many a skybase that way. I don't think it's fair to ban people for seeing the shadows and looking up.

However, skybases made of transparent/distance renderable blocks (chests) do not. If someone randomly shows up and towers up to a skybase that is not visible from ground, that should be bannable. On the flip side, anyone who is putting more than chests in the sky (farms, enchanters, beds, trackers, etc.) is an idiot and is asking to be raided. Adding another caveat- bases are trackable to within +-10 blocks if you pay attention to whether chunks have been loaded (tons of mobs, fully grown cacti, fully grown sugarcane, etc.). It is entirely conceivable for someone to show up, center themselves in the middle of chunks that they know have been loaded, tower up and find a skybase vault without cheats.

Minimaps should be bannable, I don't know much about them (I think they also detect bases underground?) and contrary to, ahem a mod or two I've never used one.

 

LMAO 2 days ago Frost was saying his AFK was raided and he was saying it was a beautiful ice/frost themed AFK in an ice spike biome.
